Harry’s Meadow is an exquisite camping and glamping site located occupying a pristine 20-acre wildflower meadow interrupted by ancient oaks and towering birches.
Our campsite is sheltered surrounded by hedgerows with magnificent views of perfect New Forest countryside.
Just a few steps from your tent there is access to miles of uninterrupted walking trails, the perfect antidote to the unruly din of the city. Keep an eye out for herds of deer and, of course, New Forest ponies. You’re more than welcome to bring your own wild animal along too, we like good dogs on leads and equally good owners who clean up after them.
Escapism and considerate New Forest camping underpins our philosophy at Harry’s Meadow so we don’t welcome large groups – sorry to be party poopers.
With no busy roads, just quiet country lanes, the only thing that will keep you awake at night will be the hoot of owls.
The facilities at Harry’s Meadow are just what you’d expect from a well-equipped camper’s campsite; we have hot showers and loos and sinks for washing up, plus fire pits for hire and wood for sale.
The team invites you to enjoy the breathtaking views, lay in the meadow and breath in the scent of British summer time, and enjoy a flawless camping holiday curated by experts—in the field.

Harry’s Meadow is an absolutely stunning place to enjoy Outdoor Living. Best Camp Site EVER :)
We only went for a 2 night break in our campervan
Perfect location with a lovely atmosphere it was lovely to see the families having so much fun ...we just had our dogs who lots of cuddles with many campers , they loved it
Lovely walk to the pub and good food ...be careful not to walk too far on the way back took 30 mins an hour to get there !! The river Avon and church are stunning
Lovely pizza on the Friday
Had a great week at Harry's Meadow. Great facilities and the compostable toilets weren't nearly as bad as I was expecting. Plenty of things to do and places to eat nearby and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Camping as I remember it.
Lots of space, peaceful and natural.
Staff very helpful, coffee bar and visiting wood fired pizza are great extras.
Very pretty big meadow- great views.
We stayed for 2 nights in our tent, and it is great to be able to choose where to pitch, meaning if you come with a group you can be creative with your space.
I found the ground quite hard (could be just where we pitched) and damaged more than a few pegs, so get some heavy duty pegs if you can.
Other than that, it is a nice location, facilities are excellent with hot showers and plenty of toilets.
As we went on a Friday/Saturday night we had access to pizza on Friday along with the visiting Bar. Coffee in the mornings on Saturday and Sunday ws very welcome.
Thanks for a great stay and we will be looking to get back and stay for longer in the future!
We were fortunate to visit when the weather was stunning which always helps when camping!
Campsite is very large, great for kids to play, showers we're good nice and powerful, compost toilets were fine.
Pizza van looked good but was sold out when we went to order, no fault of theirs just proves they must have been tasty. Coffee van was very welcome in the morning :-)
There is a river about a 10 min walk which was ok, bit sludgy and murky but cooling in the heat. Beaches are also not too far away.
Would definitely recommend the campsite and we will be back to visit.
Despite the weather not being quite what was ordered we still had a lovely weekend camping at Harry's Meadow. The site is vast - but not in a negative way. It means that there is a feeling of space despite there being a lot of fellow campers. On the whole the site was flat and provided lots of options for where to pitch. Good range of facilities - more than I usually look for at a campsite - and the pizza van was a welcome relief as an alternative to cooking another meal in the rain! And despite the rain the ground stayed pretty dry and didn't turn into a mud pit. The facilities were clean and the compost loos seemed to survive the weekend well despite the numbers of campers.
All in all a lovely campsite with really friendly and helpful staff. I think I prefer the right in the heart of the New Forest feel of Harry's Field (it's always fun wrestling with the odd donkey to get into a campsite) and you don't quite get that here but the sense of open space at the Meadow can't be beaten. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful open site with lots and lots of space, surrounded by majestic trees. Great walks, river swimming and village shop. Easy drive to the coast or to Salisbury, Fordingbridge, Stonehenge, and the New Forest. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who always went the 'extra mile'. Great showers, great pizza, great coffee and croissants. Practically: it is a basic 'field' campsite, it is on a considerable slope, if it rains it can be difficult to get vehicles on and off, it is twice the price of most places we usually camp. If you like hustle and bustle you'll love it! Folks mainly kept the 10:30pm music curfew, but chose your pitch wisely or if you're the kind of camper who longs for peace and quiet you might struggle. However it's a brilliant camp for group's with friends and family. Children will love the freedom of it. For the time we camped it had a wonderful mini festival atmosphere.
A great campsite with good, clean facilities, and the addition of pop up catering facilities. The pizzas were delicious and the cocktails (and Mary and Andy) were the perfect addition to the soggy start of an excellent weekend. Coffees and breakfast available in the morning was very well received.
On arrival we were created by a friendly guy, who have us as much information as we needed to find our spot and set up. We like that we were able to choose where we wanted to camp, rather than being directed to a spot.
We did two great walks from here, with kids from 5 - 14 years and two dogs. The pubs on the routes we both really good.
We had had an email explaining that the site was very wet at the entrance and exit, but on reviewing the weather and seeing it was going to improve we decided that we would still make the journey. The ground dried out enough by Saturday mid afternoon for the previous sogginess not to be an issue to vehicles.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
They people staying on the site were a mix, good for families, groups of friends and couples. There is enough space for people to be well spaced.
My only gripe was some people had music playing late into the night. When electronic music isn't allowed on site, I just was annoyed by it (thank goodness I took ear plugs). But this wasn't the site owners fault, just people breaking the rules.
We would love to return next year and hope it comes back!
