This was a lovely, quiet and private site. It was dog and camp fire friendly. We would definately recommend this place.

Goblin Glen
Such a great place for a group. Lots of room and its own charm between the Troll Tunnel and Goblin feel. We were seperate from other campers and didn’t even know they were there. Thanks for being a great host Jim 👍

The ground was good. Water was on hand. The areas were spacious and there was no need to share amenities with other campers. Camp fires and off lead puppies were welcome! Thank you!

Tentasaurus
Well Laid-Out Campsites
This place is worth a stay. The land is beautiful, full of wildlife, and surrounded by gorgeous trees. It features a large open meadow in the center and a few well-located campsites around the edges. You knew other people were camping at the same time, but, you had so much space and distance they added to the ambience instead of bothering you. The Tentasaurus appealed to my kids and it was useful as a camp kitchen. This is the only campsite close to the road, so if that bothers you, pick any of the others as they are all at the far side of the meadow. There is one completely private campsite on location farther into the property, one tucked into a grove of trees, and overlooking a dam - take your pick according to your preference. There was a mixture of tents, caravans, and a motorhome there and all handled the terrain fine. Note: Jim clearly takes care of this property and it was well-mowed. I want to mention that as some Hicamps aren’t (I know it is a lot of work). But, a well-mowed campsite really makes a difference. Jim provides fresh water at the site, there is plenty of firewood to gather and cut, but, he will bring you bags of it too of you don’t to do the work. He was a friendly and welcoming host. I recommend this spot.
