3 nights at St Conan's Escape
St. Conan's Escape was such a beautiful area to disappear into! The property manager, Hazel, did such a phenomenal job of preparing the space--it was so beautifully-decorated and clearly well-maintained that I could see this as the perfect experience for other solo travelers or couples looking for a beautiful location to sink into.
I found St. Conan's Escape when looking for a place to go off-grid for a couple of days in the midst of traveling, and it had everything I needed--all of the amenities including plenty of cookware, a bathroom and extremely comfortable bed, so that I could focus on my writing projects. What a beautiful scenery it's in, too! I woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains in the distance and I was so sad to leave such a majestic view. I would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a new experience!

We loved the cabin. Spacious and we slept very well. The best shower ever! The campsite has wonderful views and is well maintained. We used the bbq and fire pit. The barn is well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Angus is a wonderful host. Definitely would return to Muiredge when in Scotland!

St. Conan's Escape was lovely- the perfect place to stay during our venture to western Scotland. The accommodations were perfect, the view was excellent, and the host was very friendly and helpful. This place is amazing - from the exterior of the lodge and hot tub area, to the unique interior as well as the surroundings - everything is perfect! Tracey and her husband are lovely, around if you need them but respect your privacy if you don’t. If going I would highly recommend the Norton lodge! Tracey even added a nice wee touch to the lodge knowing it was going to be my husband’s 40th, this was much appreciated! We will defo be back!

Weekend Trip to Muiredge
A beautiful setting with views across the valley. Tents/huts were well spread out and private and we couldn’t hear other guests. Beds were very comfortable. A big barn to share games and food was just wonderful. Angus was extremely welcoming and the entire stay was relaxing and cathartic.

We had the most perfect stay at St Conan’s Escape (Columba).
The cabin itself is lovely and Hazel’s finishing touches made it even more special. It’s extremely well kitted out for a small space with more than adequate cooking equipment.
The walks straight from the door are fantastic with the Cruachan Dam being only a 45 min walk up the road.
But what made this place really hard to leave was the most amazing view from the cabin. You really need to see it in person to believe how beautiful it is. From sunrise in the morning to sunset at night, it doesn’t get much better!
We will definitely be back and look forward to that day already.

Horton lodge is absolutely gorgeous - so cosy and cute, with great facilities. With a lovely glass front, you can see all the local wildlife (mainly cats and a red squirrel or two!)
We booked the hot tub package and loved it so much we used it both nights - so fab and decadent.
We also booked the fire pit package, and although it was lovely to use we only had enough firewood for a couple of hours (maybe because it was pretty rainy???)
Overall a great place to getaway and share a cute romantic weekend away. Thanks so much for having us!!
