Hiking and swimming opportunities: From the cabin, there are great hiking opportunities in the forest and fields. A particularly recommended trip is from the cabin to Befjell (the district's highest mountain). This trip is approximately 4 km long. (8 km round trip) Otherwise, it is about a 20-minute drive to beautiful Himmelsyna, which is also a great hiking area.

At the top of the cabin area, there is the possibility of swimming - an idyllic area where you can enjoy nature unhindered and completely alone. If you prefer a sandy beach, this is approx. 10 minutes' drive from the cabin (Vågdalsfjorden)
Fishing: The Uldalsvassdraget is close by and opportunities to fish for trout. Requires a fishing license which can be purchased online.
