Vegliano su un rifugio nascosto, due alberi gemelli, noci ai piedi del Ghiridone, dove la montagna ha il respiro profondo e il bosco si fa natura selvaggia. Qui, nella riserva forestale di Palagnedra, a Boladee – cuore segreto delle Centovalli nel Canton Ticino, nelle Alpi Svizzere meridionali – il tempo rallenta, la terra canta. Di giorno, il volo di falchi, ghiandaie, rondini; al crepuscolo il richiamo di caprioli e camosci che brucano nei campi; di notte, gufi, grilli e lucciole accendono il buio come in una fiaba d’altri tempi, mentre il mattino risveglia il ticchettio del picchio, cinguettii, e qualche noce che casca dall'albero... Le cascate risuonano poco lontano, portando la voce dello scroscio del Rii della Serra fin dentro il sonno. La primavera è perfetta, l’estate è fresca, l’autunno è un incendio di foglie, l’inverno è candido. Non un camping ma un appostamento nel mezzo della natura, isolato e intimo, selvaggio ma sicuro. Bivacco ai due noci può essere prenotato so da una massimo due persone, una prenotazione per volta: non ci sono altre tende. Qualche casa del monte, sì, ma è come se non ci fosse nessuno, là sotto, ai margini del bosco. Da qui partono sentieri per oltre 200 chilometri di escursioni, ma il primo passo è già un altrove. Nel villaggio a circa dieci/quindici minuti a piedi, si trova una storica chiesa con affreschi settecenteschi di Antonio da Tradate, un mulino restaurato e disperso nella foresta, il lago artificiale di Palagnedra, molto pescoso, con la chiesetta Ai Serti, le cascate, Bordei, Rasa, i Monti di Comino che offre trekking con i lama. Massima intimità, natura, sentieri per ogni cima, arte, cibo ottimo all'Osteria del villaggio... oppure semplicemente relax in contemplazione della foresta.
