French Fields Glamping in set in 12 acres of beautiful Charente countryside. we have 2 amazing units. 1 x Original Mongolian Yurt which sleeps 4/5 people and 1 x Twin Emperor Tent which sleeps 5/6 people 1 compost toilet and a new shower room with flushing toilet. Guests have the use of a summer kitchen which is fully fitted. Range cooker, 3 BBQ's, Firepit Each Unit has its own Fridge/Freezer and all Pots an Pans are here for your use. Linen and bath towels are supplied The lounge area has a large dining table that seats 10 and for the chilly nights there is a log burner. Also in the lounge area are games. Pool Table, Darts, Football Table. And there is Archery for the young children and a full size target for the adults. Bows are supplied. And if you fancy exploring we have bikes for you to use to explore the local area. All the bike trails are very safe and you will see many cycle clubs out training. French Fields offers the perfect spot in which to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. Chill out on your deck with a glass of local wine and feel the stress drain away or take a dip in the large above ground pool and soak up the sun on the loungers.

Here at the Moulin du Pommier a warm welcome awaits. We are a family-run and family-friendly campsite set in more than eight hectares of gorgeous, out-of-the-way Charente countryside five minutes’ drive from the sleepy village of Saulgond. In fact it’s so peaceful here that you’ll probably never want to leave. The rippling waterfall and lush green land offers the peace and rest that we crave. Walk around the lake and follow all the woodland trails about the place. Biking trails are for exploring (walking maps are available ), as well as legions of historic towns waiting to be explored, or you can simply relax and chill around the pool area. Set the kids up with a rod and line to catch fish in the private lake! All your catering needs are sorted, what with the on-site restaurant offering tip-top homemade food and weekly pizza nights. Going down the self-catering route? You’re covered there too, with all the basics available from the on-site shop.
