We did a two week roadtrip in the west of France where we stayed in 5 different camping places. This one was by far the most jaw dropping! We were welcomed warmly by Perrine and Thibault. We even got to choose our emplacement. The entire domain is just wonderful. Chickens, a horse and a donkey and a cute dog, a beautiful castle and amazingly organized by Perrine and Thibault. We just stayed for one night and wished we could stay longer. We are definitely recommending this hidden gem and will return!

Had fantastic time, the hosts were great, very helpful and welcoming. The facilities are great. It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind. The chickens, donkey and horse were good fun and helped to give the place a character of its own

Nice place to stay, good view and friendly folks. Even though there were several campers it never felt crowded. We had still space to play some football and Frisbee. Pony riding for the kids was possible for a fair price! ❤️

This campsite went straight to the top of the list of all the campsites, we have been to. We’re travelling with three kids and a big Nordisk tent, that takes up a lot of space, but this place has enough space for everyone!
The surroundings are beautiful with the old castle as the “service building,” the swimmingpool offers a refreshing swim for little ones and all others, the chickens, the horse, and the donkey give it all a farmer’s vibe, and the couple running it all, Perrine and Thibault along with their kids, are just extremely down to earth, welcoming, warm, and helpful folks.
We stayed for a week and already had our next stay planned, but otherwise we would’ve prolonged our stay. We’re definitely returning as soon as possible!

This is an incredible campsite. Thibault and Perrine were amazing hosts. The site is stunning, amenities were amazing and the pool was superb. Without doubt the best campsite we have stayed at.

1 night at Domaine de Fontaine Châtel
This was a very special and beautiful place to spend the night. We were welcomed very friendly by the hosts. We climbed up the trees in the dark and woke up with a beautiful view over the forest in autumn colors. Perfect last night of our holiday in Normandy.

There’s a beautiful coastline and plenty of pretty countryside with lots of great camping and glamping sites making the most of it all. It’s a land full of culture and history so there’s plenty to see and do too from visiting the famous beaches and historic towns that have been the battleground of both ancient and more modern wars, to exploring picture-perfect countryside. Pack your tent and book your ferry crossing to this near but foreign landscape in northern France for a camping holiday to remember.
