A lot of privacy because on a recreation area of approx. 1 hectare only 5 luxury safari tents have been placed. The view from every tent is breathtaking. Of course there is a swimming pool and you will find all kinds of sports and game possibilities. We, Audrey and Sébastien, are always nearby or available for information, help or just for a chat.  On occasion we open our small bar; our guests can then meet each other and exchange information while enjoying a drink and a snack. We bought the Glamping in may 2025. THE SAFARI TENTS Our tents have a high level of comfort: Kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, fridge freezer, microwave, "nespresso", blender and all kinds of kitchen appliances Wifi Dining area Sitting area Cutlery, plates, cups, cups, glasses, etc. for 5 people Bathroom with spacious shower cabin (rain shower), sink and toilet Bedroom with double bed Bedroom with single and bunk beds Terrace with bar and lounge set sunbeds Barbecue Picnic table Parasol Glamping Aquitaine has been realized on former vineyards; Our tents therefore have the name of a grape variety: Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Sancerre and Sauvignon. Tent Sauvignon is suitable for the disabled due to its location, accessibility and furnishings. THE SWIMMING POOL We have opted for a saltwater pool; this is more natural and comfortable than a pool with chlorine. Skin and eyes are not burdened with all kinds of chemicals. The salinity is significantly lower than in the sea. The pool is heated to be able to enjoy it in early and late season. At the pool there are plenty of sunbeds with parasols. The pool is fenced, so that small children cannot enter unaccompanied. THE SPORTS AND GAMES FACILITIES There is always something to do at our park, for young and old. A small list: Jeu-de-boule-court, football field, basketball, table tennis table, swings, playhouse, trampoline, crocket, badminton sets, and so on.

SMALL SCALE – TRANQUILITY – FANTASTIC VIEW These are the key terms of our holiday park "Glamping Aquitaine", in the heart of the Department of La Dordogne, France. Glamping is a form of camping, but at « home Sweet Lodge » it is GL – Grand Luxe: luxuriously enjoying your holiday. We offers a lot of privacy for our guests. A lot of privacy because on a recreation area of approx. 1 hectare only 5 luxury safari tents have been placed. The view from every tent is breathtaking. Of course there is a swimming pool and you will find all kinds of sports and game possibilities. We, Audrey and Sébastien, are always nearby or available for information, help or just for a chat.  On occasion we open our small bar; our guests can then meet each other and exchange information while enjoying a drink and a snack. We bought the Glamping in may 2025. THE SAFARI TENTS Our tents have a high level of comfort: Kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, fridge freezer, microwave, "nespresso", blender and all kinds of kitchen appliances Wifi Dining area Sitting area Cutlery, plates, cups, cups, glasses, etc. for 5 people Bathroom with spacious shower cabin (rain shower), sink and toilet Bedroom with double bed Bedroom with single and bunk beds Terrace with bar and lounge set sunbeds Barbecue Picnic table Parasol Glamping Aquitaine has been realized on former vineyards; Our tents therefore have the name of a grape variety: Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Sancerre and Sauvignon. Tent Sauvignon is suitable for the disabled due to its location, accessibility and furnishings. THE SWIMMING POOL We have opted for a saltwater pool; this is more natural and comfortable than a pool with chlorine. Skin and eyes are not burdened with all kinds of chemicals. The salinity is significantly lower than in the sea. The pool is heated to be able to enjoy it in early and late season. At the pool there are plenty of sunbeds with parasols. The pool is fenced, so that small children cannot enter unaccompanied. THE SPORTS AND GAMES FACILITIES There is always something to do at our park, for young and old. A small list: Jeu-de-boule-court, football field, basketball, table tennis table, swings, playhouse, trampoline, crocket, badminton sets, and so on.

You will find a pretty ground of 2000m2, plenty of oaks and pines, that offer a place in the shade. You will have a magnificent view of the sunset and on the opposite a beautiful view of the small mountain. You will have a small path giving access to the Herault river, located 200m away. There is a round wooden platform, 5m diameter, on which you can practice yoga and stretching. There are toilets with a small sink with drinking spring water ( +filtration and an ultraviolet treatment system), and electrical outlets to recharge your devices. You can pitch your tent or park your motorhome. The place is quiet, and very well located for hiking, cultural visits, swimming and to practice many sports and experience cultural and gastronomic activities in the nearby region. Located 1.5km between two villages, you will find shops, chemists, three supermarkets, a car garage, medical centre and petrol station. The entrance to the A75 and A750 are located 2km away. There are also bus routes serving the surrounding villages and more distant towns, and also for Montpellier (25 minutes away). Nestled in the hollow of the Luech river, the campsite is located on the outskirts of the village of Peyremale, which has retained all the cachet of a picturesque, typically Cévennes promontory. In this place of nature you will find remains of the old water mill which now hosts the reception. The landscape is marked by the rich historical past of the Cévennes with its agricultural terraces. The camp is located on a large meadow, at the time fitted out for the exploitation of coal but which has never been used, linked to the end of the mining period. Grand espace très tranquille en cette fin de juin. Même si je suis arrivée après la fermeture de l’accueil, j’ai pu facilement rejoindre la proprio. Les indications sur places sont très claires. L’endroit est très propre.

The site and view and facilities were very good indeed. We dined at the bar, only one choice but it was very good. Quiet and lovely. Only a few patrons and just marvellous. Disappointed at how expensive the Hipcamp administration fee was. And this is justified by some million dollar indemnity allowance. No idea how that would apply!
