It is very nice spot. Rob is super cooperative, he does his best to make your trip as enjoyeable as possible. We will enjoy a lot not only from the breathtaking views, also from his companion. Thanks rob for making our holidays so memorable.

Rob was an amazing host. Such a nice down to earth guy with a beautiful property to share with the hip camp community. He was so kind with my son and his dog was so gentle and calm. We will definitely be back to visit Rob again.

Great find, made a minute booking and the site is as promised. Lake, fire and privacy! Rob is a lovely a generous host, his property is quiet, serene and clean.

What a beautiful spot. Booked last minute as a surprise for my husband and couldn't have been happier. Very private, quiet clear lake. Only spent the one night and threw out a couple casts in the morning and quickly pulled in a small mouth from the dock. Cleanest outhouse I've ever seen. Very well maintained property. Rob was very friendly and welcoming. Will be back!

Rob's Waterfront #1 site was absolutely perfect!! Well manicured, direct access to water and lots of space. The view was incredible, the lake was full of fish!!! Rob is so nice and his dog Skye is so so sweet!!! We would love to return one day!! Bring bug spray, you're right beside the lake haha

Thanks Rob, the beautiful lake and all of the entertaining wildlife gave us a restful, relaxing weekend. The dogs especially loved your property and meeting your Sky dog. Renting both sites for our group of five worked out great, although next time I would bring a camp chair for each site. We will book again.

Our stay at Rob’s Riverview Hipcamp site was a peaceful and memorable experience. Rob was not only professional, but also incredibly kind and welcoming. You could see his warm spirit in the way he greeted us and cared for his land. He even picked us fresh wild asparagus — a thoughtful and delicious surprise!
The Riverview lot was stunning. Wildlife was abundant, and even though the weather limited our fishing, watching fish jump in the lake was a joy. The flat site easily fit our 9-man tent and gave our dog space to roam safely on leash. It was private, quiet, and felt like a true retreat.
The amenities were great: a solid outdoor table, a well-kept fire pit, and an impressively clean outhouse with sanitizer, toilet paper, and lighting. Every detail showed Rob’s care and hospitality.
This place offered more than a campsite — it offered rest for the soul. Surrounded by God’s beautiful creation, we felt renewed. We’re so grateful for Rob’s hospitality and would gladly return. Highly recommend!

I visited this beautiful campsite over the weekend with my brother, and it was an incredible experience! The location is right by a private lake, which made for an awesome kayaking adventure. There’s a nice dock, and the clear, beautiful sky added to the peaceful atmosphere. The host was very responsive and easy to talk to, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the water!

Very Quiet and Peaceful. Right along side the lake so you see beautiful sunrise and sunset. Miss Sky always comes and checks in which is always a lovely surprise from the fur-baby. Rob was awesome once again, very welcoming. Definitely mine and my boyfriends fav place to take off too and get some alone time.

Rob’s land is truly breathtaking and Rob himself is a true people person. He doesn’t shy away from conversation and even brought us some vegetables from his garden! His dog Sky is always looking for pets and more often than not she can be found sunbathing on the dock 🥹.
The waterfront campsite was honestly perfect. Wake up 15 feet from Dempsey’s Lake, cook breakfast and maybe catch dinner (from the dock!). Rob has a variety of watercraft such as kayaks, a canoe, and a rowboat w/ outboard motor (or trolling motor for the unlicensed) available for rent for a great price.
The campsite is clean, right on the water, and there is a pit toilet about 30m from the site which was lit and always stocked with toilet paper. Very private spot as the other campsite is next to the pit toilet and their view of the waterfront site is mostly obstructed by trees. There is a picnic table and fire pit with firewood available.
I would recommend this campsite to anyone looking to have a relaxing, quiet and even romantic getaway by a terrific lake filled with fish.

We loved this place!!!!
The site itself is beautiful and serene. Super close access to the docks where you can rent out some boats and fish on the huge lake.
Rob was an absolute pleasure to be around. His hospitality was unmatched from any other hip camp site we’ve been to. Such a sweet soul and his dog, Sky, was so well behaved and cuddly!
Highly highly highly recommend!! We will 100% be back.

We had a great time at Spirit Wild! The campsite is right at the water's edge - beautiful views of Virgin Lake - Loon calls and dark skies made for great evenings by the campfire. We swam till our arms were sore in the warm clear water and rented the kayaks Rob has available. Outhouse was very nice and clean... however - it was placed in the upper campsite, so it made it a bit awkward to have to go right into another campsite with people sitting around a campfire facing the outhouse. Rob's dog Sky was nice and friendly and came to greet us each morning. Nice fairly flat ground to pitch a tent and a few trees to provide some fleeting shade.
Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this site as a great swimming spot.

We had a great time camping waterfront . It was a beautiful view, very close to the dock for swimming. Loads of space for our vehicle, two tents, and a screen room we placed around the provided picnic table. Rob was a great host that checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time.

Last minute to take my niece camping. Stumbled upon Robs waterfront camping. Rob was great to talk to, very prompt and accommodating on what we need. Having the docks to swim, fish and having the canoe rental was great! His dog was very nice to ours.
Quiet and peaceful lake! Outhouse was very clean with easy access and lights. Highly recommend this place!

We ended up staying at Site 1 instead, as it was right by the water and it was a super hot weekend. Rob was extremely nice, welcoming, helpful and respectful of our privacy. We really enjoyed our stay and would 10/10 recommend. The lake was beautiful, he had kayaks and canoes to use and a dock to swim at. At the end of our stay he brought out his tractor to help us swing our trailer around. He has a dog (super friendly) and is very welcoming of other dogs - Rufus loved Rob!

We really enjoyed our one-night camping at Rob’s place. There is plenty of space to set up your tent and the view is amazing! We also took the canoe ride in the lake and it was a pleasant experience(highly recommended). Rob was super kind and nice to us. We hope we can come back again sometime in future!

Rob was an incredible host, he gave us our space but also came around for some time to chat and get to know each other which was really nice and welcoming. He was kind to our 3 year old son who followed him around the property like a shadow. He wanted to learn about Robs machines he uses.
The dock was a beautiful treat on a hot day. We had a very private campsite with access to the dock to jump in the water. We enjoyed sitting there and listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. At night the lake really came alive with the sounds of critters and the loons.
We would love to keep this place a secret but that just wouldn’t be fair to our wonderful host Rob! Thanks again :)

Rob was an amazing host during our Rv adventure - it began with a fall and a foot injury (Rob has first aid training), continued with tornado warnings and then ended with his help in getting our trailer out of a tight spot - Rob helped with bandaging my foot after a fall to helping us manoeuver our trailer out of our spot - he was calm and helpful and this reassured us when things were not going as planned for us -we recommend this beautiful spot and mostly this super helpful host :)
