Learn more about this land: Come join our hobby farm for a night or two! Wake up to birds chirping and roosters crowing. We are about 10 minutes from Smithville, Binbrook and Dunnville. You'll get a glimpse at how we choose to run our hobby farm, you might see some gardening, tree pruning / planting, chicken farming, bee keeping and general farm maintenance. Or you can sit back, relax and enjoy the fresh country air. You will have two campsite options to choose from: Option 1 - In the trees. This option is a walk-in site, about 7 minutes from where you park. You will have trees on 2 sides and be surrounded by crop fields. There is a designated fire pit. This site is only partial shade. Option 2 - Along the hayfield. This site option you will be able to pull your vehicle right up to. You'll be looking onto a natural hayfield and have part grass and part gravel to set up camp on. There is a designated firepit and an outhouse a short walk away. This site is mostly full sun with 1 big ash tree. None of our options include hydro or electricity. There is a gazebo on the property that you may use for eating meals or looking out onto the pond. The pond has some small fish should you choose to bring a fishing rod and perform some catching and releasing. Feel free to check out the chickens, they can be found free-ranging around. We have 24 acres for you to walk, depending on the season there may be crops growing in the far feild and we ask that you be respectful of their growth and not step on them.

    Had a wonderful stay there, Holly and Josh were great hosts, our children had a blast and was a great evening. Thanks for hosting our first tent camping experiment with the kids.

    Holly’s property was beautiful, and she and her husband were wonderful hosts. They even helped us transport all of our gear to the back property camp site. There is an out building toilet for use, which was convenient. My only suggestion would be, be sure to bring yourself some shade. Holly and her husband were in the midst of planting trees, but it will be a bit, before they are mature enough to provide shade. Beautiful spot and lovely hosts.
