Perfect escape
We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! 🌿✨
It’s the perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and such a lovely place to switch off, slow down and feel completely connected to nature. The cabin itself was beautiful and cosy, and the outdoor bath overlooking the grounds was such a special touch. Sitting there listening to the owls and all the wildlife around us was so peaceful.
The star gazing was probably one of our favourite parts of the whole stay — I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen a sky so full of stars!
The couple who run the cabin were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful. Even when we hadn’t received the manual (which, as it turns out, was sitting happily in my junk folder 🤣), they were so patient and helpful with everything we needed. They even kindly let us pick some apples from their apple tree, which was such a lovely little extra!
The wood fire was another gorgeous addition and made the cabin feel so cosy in the evenings. And the bed… honestly, I think that was the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time!
The neighbouring town was also a delight and had a lot of cute shops to browse!
It really is such a special place and the perfect retreat if you’re looking to escape, reconnect with nature and properly relax. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. We’re already hoping to come back again in the future! 🤍🌿✨

We all loved the Capel. All amenities we needed, fabulous location, endless birdsong and perfect for our nervous dog to explore and feel safe. A beautifully hand-crafted building- perfection for a peaceful family escape.

Wonderful little cabin tucked away from the hum-drum perfect for relaxing and walking. Kind and sweet caring family make sure everything is all ready and in order. Cozy and warm with brilliant dark skies at night.

Charming cabin- a delight

Wonderful bespoke cabin with lots of charm. It’s handmade and beautiful, and really clean and comfy! We loved our stay. The bath was a huge treat. The water from the spring was delicious. We found amazing walks in the area- long and fabulous views and woodland. We loved Daphne’s in Prestiegne- delicious supper. Highly recommend - the children (10 and 7) loved the bedroom in rafters. A real gem!

A beautiful Stay
Such a fabulous stay. Sadly we had to leave early due to our dog being poorly but the lovely owner has kindly offered us to come back for the night we missed.
We absolutely loved everything about this place. The cabin was super clean and the setting of the Cabin in the Wild garden is just beautiful . One of our most peaceful stays yet. The bath outside, with a view makes this place special.
The beds where really comfortable and the hammock outside was so relaxing, could of sat there all day long. A great place to bird watch too.
Will 100% be returning.

Little hut of heaven

A real gem of a find. The Capel is extremely well considered, Liv and Bertie have done a fantastic job at creating such a beautiful space. We were a party of four adults and had enough space to eat, sleep and relax. The weather was pretty chilly when we stayed (it even snowed for a bit) but the log burner gives out plenty of heat and the outdoor bath was liberating!
