We loved being on Chris's land. Had a very quiet peaceful relaxing time. Really enjoyed seeing the farm yard animals and talking with our host.

Blackburn Farm
Blackburn Farm was fantastic! Chris and his wife were amazing,informative , gracious hosts. The sheep were adorable and Gramcraker and Marshmellow, the goats, were awesome!! We highly recommend staying on Blackburn Farm!! Peaceful, beautiful property and spectacular hosts, you couldn’t ask for better. We will be back for sure!!❤️🐐🐑

Great little farm surrounded by woods and convenient to Mystic and the shore. The property makes for a very private experience and the sheep and goats are adorable companions. Chris is a great host and very helpful with local suggestions. Would recommend

Great Location for visiting Mystic. Appreciated the privacy —they have only one camping site. Great farm animals! Chris was available and friendly and not at all intrusive.

Gorgeous forested site with maples and ash on a charming farm! The drive into the property is worth it, large site with well maintained power, immaculate picnic table and firepit and so near all the museums, beaches, food and entertainment of coastal ct.

Really loved the property. Wooded site beside the barn. Plenty of room to back in to spot with our 21 ft trailer. Lots of hiking from site. Chris and Tiffany were great hosts, kind, helpful, also great recommendations. The animals were a plus, also timed it right for sheep shearing! Ask about the syrup, very cool and very good!! Definitely be coming back at some point!!

Been staying at Blackburn farm every year for last three years. It is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mystic CT. Feels remote while only 10 minutes outside of downtown Mystic. Can’t go wrong with this spot.

The area is very quiet and private. There is water and electric available although we didn't need it. Communication was excellent and host was friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed meeting the goats and sheep. Perfect stay .

This was our first HipCamp experience and it did not disappoint. Very beautiful and secluded property with lovely sheep and goats to keep you company. Chris was very responsive and accommodating during our visit. We will definitely stay here again when in the NE area!

Loved this site! A little tricky to navigate to, but quite fun that’s it’s hidden away in the woods with not a traffic sound to be heard.
The animals are so cute (fainting goats Marshmallow & Graham Cracker were a huge hit with the toddler), electric hookup is easy and potable water very nearby, and the hosts were so lovely, welcoming us and communicating promptly to make sure we were settled in alright. We got their recs for activities and food in the area, as well- would love to return to Mystic, and when we do, we’ll be staying here again!

The spot was perfect. Electric and water set up was spot on. Super close to Mystic, few town roads being you right there, which was what we were looking for. Chris was super responsive and the whole experience was lovely.

Probably better for smaller campers because of the path up to the campsite. But once there, a secluded spot. The owner is very friendly and helpful and communicates well.

Recommended to us by friends, we were happy to find it exceeded our expectations. Friendly host who gave us great tips on the area. The site was near Mystic Seaport Museum but also offered a hiking trail (around ponds and relatively flat — with turkeys and herons) and farm animals for company. A flat parking area with water and electric. We had a wonderful stay.

This was our first Hipcamp experience, and it did not disappoint! Chris was a great host - responsive and informative. We loved the farm animals- particularly Marshmallow and Graham! The land is beautiful and well cared for, and it is a nice, private, spot. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location. Chris and Tiffany were amazing hosts, with the campsite being perfect for our camper. Water and Electric hookups meant we didnt have to worry about anything, and Mystic had a lot to do in the two nights we were there. We have a 6 year old, and he loved staying next to the goats/sheep/chickens.
We'll be visiting again soon, and looking to stay here again. A+

This is a great private quiet and beautiful location and Chris, our host, was very welcoming and helpful. The site is level and sits on a massive trail network, suitable for hiking, and biking and is close to Mystic/Stonington and the many parks, boat launches, docks, museums and great restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back with kayaks/bikes.

Blackburn Farm was a fabulous spot to camp for the night! The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with, clear directions and instructions, and the animals were fun to get to meet.
Absolutely beautiful location, and so convenient to Mystic and I-95. Chris heard that I'm into hiking to waterfalls and suggested a beautiful long walk to the Cascades for the morning. The farm is surrounded by awesome, really well marked Groton Open Space Association trails. Perfect way to start a mild fall day.

What a great place to stay! The location is private, relaxing and quiet. Close to mystic, beaches, state parks and hiking. Christopher and Tiffany were great, very friendly. We will definitely visit their farm again.

We didn't get to stay long and enjoy the area and rained while we were there but Blackburn farm was lovely! Great camping spot, nice trails, got to visit with the farm animals and the host was very friendly and had great recommendations.

It was a wonderful experience for our first time out with our camper. Chris and Tiffany were very helpful, friendly, and delightful hosts. The sheep and goats were fun companions, and we appreciated having a picnic table, fire pit, electricity, and water available to us. The location is ideal. We enjoyed dinner at The Fisherman, one of the places recommended by our hosts, and we loved bringing home fresh veggies from the farm at a very reasonable price. We hope to go back to Blackburn Farm sometime soon.

Camping at Chris’s was great Minutes from downtown and the seaport as well as Abbot’s Lobster.
Goats and sheep are friendly and fun. Easy to get to quiet and the power is a great plus

Second time was even better than the first. It's a lovely setting, love the goats and chickens and fireflies. It feels private, safe, comfortable. This time we ventured out to Mystic and Noank. Chris gave us wonderful recommendations. There are a lot of great things very close by.

This was a great place to camp. We just stayed one night but Christopher was super helpful and had a great property. He showed us all the hook ups, his farm, where hiking trails were, as well as what to do in the area. We wish we had more time to stay here. We would stay again, thanks!
