A beautiful farm with wide open views of pastures and livestock grazing peacefully. The dry camping spots are located next to a creek w access to water fill up if needed at main house not far away. Located 30 minutes from Kamloops on a paved road. Many options for beautiful private hikes right from your tent or RV. One communal fire pit is available and firewood can be purchased at the main house, or as part of your reservation. A u-pick vegetable garden is available to guests at no additional cost. There is also a small self serve farm store as you come into the property, featuring vegs and pickles grown on farm as well as local eggs, meats, cheese, honey and locally made candlPitch your tent or park your RV in a lovely pasture beside a creek or up on the hill with a view. Enjoy beautiful views of sheep and cattle grazing peacefully in nearby pastures. There are walking or hiking trails through pasture lands and forested rangelands right from your camping spot. If you have an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. We can provide potable water and shower and laundry available at main house. Behind your camp is crown land with a canopy of fir and aspen trees and a creek meanders right beside the main camping area. Campfires are permitted as long as there are no fire bans. Pets welcome. Fresh vegetables (u-pick) and grass-fed lamb, and pasture chicken are available for purchase. Maximum number of vehicles, per site: 1 Maximum number of people, per site: 4.

Excellent views of nearby farmland and surrounding foothills. Peaceful, quiet, and secure. Farm animal deposits were extensive. It was difficult to walk around the pasture without getting crap all over your shoes. Tent campers may be OK with the raised deck? Surprised that the sheep didn’t go up there. If there is more than 1 group of tent campers then you definitely need a tarp.

There was no running water, the ground has so much poo from multiple animals , and it was super far like 40 min from Kamloops , the only thing that was good was that there was a shooting range that I think I was aloud to use

It is not easy to find the entrance to the campsite (you have to drive a little further than Google Maps suggests). But once you have found it, you will find yourself in an absolutely quiet, idyllic place where you can also buy home-grown farm products.

Very relaxing and peaceful campground we enjoyed it quite a lot and also there were no mosquitoes so that was a bonus. The sheep were fun to see and Gillian’s very cute and friendly. We also enjoyed the coyote chorus each evening! Gillian gave me a ride up to her place on her ATV to fill my water container too. We would stay there again for sure!

Beautiful quiet farm land with lovely views. The sheep keep you company and Gillian is the perfect host who shared some fresh vegetables from her garden with us. Highly recommend.

I had a great site under a tree in a large field lot. Gillian was a great host very attentive to get you setup. Then let you be. She gave ideas where to hike and things in town. I had great views and enjoyed my time there.

Absolutely beautiful! I loved staying here and was lucky to experience it by myself for the most part. My dog loved zooming in the grass. Stunning sunset and sunrise. Loved the addition of the u-pick garden and of course so fun meeting the sheep and cows. Would definitely recommend!

The scenery was nice. However, there was too much poop throughout the campground. Also, the dozen eggs we received were in poor condition — the yolks were already broken.

This is perfect for a last minute stop. We arrived quite late but the property and the campsite were very easy to find. There is a big open field with plenty of space to pitch a tent. It was very quiet and a beautiful location to wake up in the morning. The host is very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

We really loved our stay with Jill! The road to the farm is already beautiful and the place it self is stunning and super quite. Jill made us feel like home and was always there to help. We were super happy that we stayed there for 2 nights to enjoy the surroundings. The compost toilet was also super clean and Jill provide us with a big jug of water for our stay. As seen in previous review there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, luckily we had the Thermacell Mosquito Repeller which helped a lot. We would definitely visit again!

What a wonderful place to be, so quite and peaceful! Gill is such a friendly and helpful host. We could take veggies from the garden for free and use it for dinner! We will come Back, when we are around next time.

Peaceful stay for a last min booking! Nice to wake up and watch the sheep and the birds with breakfast. Much better option than the other rec sites/rv parks in the area. Definitely recommend!

It was so peaceful here. A welcome break from busy campgrounds. I only wished we had stayed for longer. We loved it. We had breakfast watching what i assume is the local marmot sunning himself. We didnt want to leave.

Beautiful area that was a welcome retreat from busy Kamloops. Saw several deer as we drove in. Fresh produce from the amazing veggie garden was wonderful.

Pretty cool to hang with the sheep. Great ebiking through the backwood trails to the Little Disdero Lakes. Large area for our fifth wheel. That was great, but the best was Max, we met Max and he is now probably one of the friendliest people we know. Max hooked us up with water and more than willing to get anything we needed. Campfires in the shared fire pit were great while there were no fire bans on. Another short bike ride to a small hill nearby was fun. Sorry we did not meet Gillian but we will be back. It was a great R&R and bike ride for five days.

La route pour arriver et le terrain de stationnement sont très beaux ! C'est vraiment calme et agréable et le plaisir de recevoir les œufs frais le matin. Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit mais j'espère pourvoir y retourner plus longuement !

Beautiful farmland site bordering natural wooded hills. Max the sheep farmer greeted us warmly. Wildflowers aplenty on July 1, Canada Day. Camping area is ample for 3 vehicles. Basic composting outhouse. Pastoral, friendly vibe all around. Mosquitoes were a little thick. I’d love to go back.

Everything was as advertised. The view is amazing and i loved visiting with the sheep. The low tech toulet was cool, i may replicate. I had two "hip" neighbors and we had a great time creating hip- community.

Beautiful surroundings & very peaceful. The lettuce from the u-pick garden was amazing. Too bad there was no lamb available, as we were looking forward to it. Since our host wasn't there, it would have been great to have a map showing where we could have hiked/walked.

Gillian’s farm was a wonderfully peaceful place to camp! We enjoyed talking to the sheep and had a good night’s sleep in the quiet of the countryside. We stayed as part of a larger road trip and had easy access from the campsite to the highway so we could continue on our way.
