We had such a cozy stay in this beautiful cabin. They are very warmed and friendly people who care about their guests and they ensured we had everything we needed to be happy. The location is ideal, and it was a fantastic spectacle to watch the sun rise while sitting on the dock with our coffee in the morning. The cabin was clean and a lot of things were provided to meet our needs. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the aesthetic of the place. If the weather would have been adequate, (It was raining and windy during our stay) It would have been perfect to have a fire with such nice set-up in the back, or to go for a swim. Oh well...next time! ;) Thank you very much again for everything!

This place was FANTASTIC!!! Our cabin was perfect and a very short walk down to the dock to enjoy the water. Their land is gorgeous and clean, and the host are so friendly and accommodating 😊

The cabin was inviting and comfortable and the rental, check in and departure were all managed graciously by Ken and Sariena. They were both very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to meet.
The location was very convenient to spending time at Elk Island National Park. The views of Half Moon Lake from the dock were beautiful and the variety of local birds around was fantastic. We enjoyed the outside area the most, with the lake close by and a small deck off the cabin, as well as BBQ, fire pit and picnic table all surrounded by trees, nice and private. The best parts were the peaceful mornings and the evenings spent around the fire - so quiet!
We definitely recommend it to anyone looking for that just out of town location where you still feel like you’ve gotten away. I hope that it is available for us on our next adventure.

Great little spot just outside of Edmonton! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. This site didn't have as much tree cover as the other cabin on the property, and the lake can be loud at night (popular with partiers on a summer weekend), but the hosts were super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Having the use of their canoe was especially nice and we really enjoyed our mornings out on the water. Overall, a great base for hiking and exploring the surrounding area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Came here for a little couple getaway for 2 nights and honestly nothing but good things to say! First off the pictures of the cabin don't do it justice, it's way cuter in person and super clean. It's a minute walk to the dock on the lake and super beautiful view. We went canoeing and floating on the lake and had so much fun. Side note as well, the neighbouring people around the lake are super friendly and very welcoming. There was a lot of different birds, so that was super neat to see. The outhouse was surprisingly very clean as well, unlike most outhouses you see. The land was very well kept up. The hosts made our stay super comfortable and always made sure we were doing okay! Very impressed , thank you for the get away! 👍🏼 ❤️ ☀️

Such an amazing spot! Quiet and tranquil, just steps from the lake with a dock and a canoe. There is a fire pit and barbecue right out front and the cabin itself is adorable. It’s stocked with bedding, towels, cutlery and games. I’ll absolutely be staying again!

The nicest hosts we ever had. Our stay was great, the cabin was absolutely fantastic. Our 4 years old loved it. The lake is right outside of the door and has a rink around the edge for ice skating. We didn't know what to expect so we overpacked and were surprised when we got there. Really warm and cozy, great getaway, I recommend.

The cabin was super cute and cozy. Slept like a baby. Went for a canoe ride on the lake and got to see a bunch of pelicans. Sitting on the doc was nice too, so many different birds would fish right in front of us. I will definitely be booking again.
Our hostess even brought us some carrot cake 😁.

Ken’s cabin was such a great weekend getaway. Although it’s a short distance from Edmonton, the area feels very private and woodsy- perfect for my city kids! We saw all types of birds and wildlife and the canoe provided a full day’s entertainment. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy. We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic little spot to getaway without going too far from home for me. Hosts were great, weather was great and enjoyed my little. The firepit, dock and BBQ were all put to use and will look forward to taking the canoe out on my next stay when I have an extra pair of arms. The residents around the lake were friendly as I spent time lounging on the dock I was impressed with how respectful they were with such a variety of watercraft out there. Looking forward to returning.

My husband and I were enjoying this short stay. The cabin is super clean and cosy. The hosts are very friendly and supportive. We were swimming, canoeing, and preparing yummy foods on the fire, far from overcrowded beaches. The lake is really nice. We met a couple of pelicans there. We will definitely come back and will recommend this place to our friends.

Everything was provided to have a great time; we enjoyed canoeing, a campfire, a swim in the beautiful lake, and a nice night in the cabin. We hope to stay there again someday!

Hosts were excellent - very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful plot, rustic cabin, moments from the city, great swimming.
Dogs kids and adults alike will find hours of activities on this pie shaped plot.
If you’re look for a contained, chill vacation this is it!

Place is very clean, and it has everything that you need for a short stay. My 9 year old son and our dog really had a good time both on the ground and at the lake, thanks to the hospitality of our hosts. Definitely recommend it to others. Only 20’ from the downtown! We had an adorable and very peaceful sleep, and a great time by the fire pit. Looking forward to comeback again soon!
