The Ponds Farmstay is a lovely country drive 20 minutes west of Kempsey and offers a serene, farm environment. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, very peaceful. We offer several separate self-sufficient level grassy camping sites - some closer to the river that are unpowered, and others a short walk from the river that offer power. There are no facilities, so you must be self-contained with your own toilet. Fresh tank water is available pending on supply conditions. Camping at the rear of the property beside the Macleay River, perfect for the adventurous and family fun, (including your dogs) to go swimming, fishing (for bass!), kayaking, or canoeing. If you are completely self-sufficient camping by the river, is another option, pending rainfalls. The river does flood at times, which is out of our control, but still interesting, however, camping is still interesting on the bank overlooking the river, provided the Turners Flat bridge is not flooded. Pets must be supervised at all times, for the safety of your pets, they must stay away from the livestock and don't annoy other campers, and they must be fully vaccinated.

Beautiful property, Caroline does a fantastic job keeping it that way, she was lovely to deal with and we will be back to enjoy the peaceful outlook it has to offer.

NYE camp trip

Despite the gloomy weather, my friends and I really enjoyed staying on Carolyn’s property. Right on the banks of the river, it was perfect for a swim and fish. Plenty of space between the next campsite was also nice. Definitely keen to come back!

We absolutely Loved this spot! It was nice and private away from other campers right on the river front, the river was amazing had enough shallow for the younger kids to enjoy but deeper for the older kids to splash around and snorkel. Carolyn was amazing checked in to ensure we were happy but still allowed us to have our privacy! There is enough trees to be in the shade or further away from the river you have open fields. More than enough space to enjoy. Orginally staying for 7nights but changed to 5 night due to children’s permanent glasses breaking. We will definitely return we had a blast! Thanks Carolyn!!

This place was awesome! Had a few spots to pick from right on the river, some flat spots to park our pop up camper and gazebo. The river was the best, good temperature, shallow enough to sit and drink beers in, and some great views. Carolyn was very helpful at arrival and throughout the trip, would highly recommend for some peace and quiet.

We had a good time out on the farm very relaxing and peaceful, Carolyn-Anne is very lovely. Its about 20km from Kempsey so it's not to far if you need anything. Would definitely stay again. Cheers
