The cabin is located 3 miles and 1,700 feet up from Lake Willoughby in the Town of Westmore. We invite you to stay!&nbsp;

Looking behind&nbsp;as you drive up Coles Mountain&nbsp;to the land,&nbsp;you see views of&nbsp;Lake Willoughby and rolling mountains heading out to the horizon in the west. &nbsp;Majestic. &nbsp;

Once you have traveled 3 miles and gone up 1,700 feet from Lake Willoughby, you cross a land bridge over a stream and enter a private clearing ringed with tress and forest. &nbsp;This is&nbsp;an old orchard&nbsp;in the forest with an off-grid cabin. &nbsp;Cozy surroundings. &nbsp;Though you may hear others on surrounding properties, you don't see them. &nbsp;&nbsp;Cross another stream and the land goes back another&nbsp;10 acres into deep forest. &nbsp;Magical.

Outdoor activities throughout the area include hiking, skiing and mountain biking at Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trails Association, Craftsbury Outdoor Center and local Vermont State Parks, as well as&nbsp;kayaking,&nbsp;swimming, and fishing&nbsp;on Lake Willoughby. &nbsp;Watch the sunset at Sentinel Rock. &nbsp;

Little Sister's Campsite

As private as private gets but only 6 miles to Newport Vt. There is a creek and a one acre pond (20 feet deep). It is all mixed hard and softwoods. It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. For more info call 863220 5881 Excellent drinking water is available from the hose at our house.

 Fires are allowed and we supply the firewood at no extra charge.

You may use the raft in front of our house 1 mile away. 

Old Moose Farm

An Overlanders, Tenters, and Camper Van Enthusiasts Paradise!  Enjoy beautiful views and the majestic wilderness of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Situated at the top of Todd Hill, the property includes a fresh-water stream, apple orchard, and Christmas Tree Farm. We're a working homestead, so you might see us out and about.

There are several different sites at the Old Moose Farm ranging from inside the cozy apple orchard, to the top of Crom's Peak with it's 270° views of the Connecticut River Valley and the North East Kingdom of Vermont. There's also plenty of open space for those who would like to pick their own spot, message me for details.

On a clear day you can see Vermont, New Hampshire, Canada, and even Maine!  In our 40 plus acres of Christmas Trees and Apple Orchards you will feel at one with nature while also only being 3 miles from one of New England's finest microbreweries and all the ATV and hiking trails you can handle. 

The Property features several camping sites perfect for classic tent campers, smaller travel trailers and micro campers, and backpacking adventurers.  Located 10 minutes from Colebrook NH and 30 minutes from Pittsburgh NH. 
The Northeast Kingdom of VT and The Great North woods of NH are all accessible from The Old Moose Farm.

Just 19 miles away is majestic lake willoughby and endless hiking at your toes!

The great Vermont corn maze is about an hour south and is an awesome day of fun with family.

Take a ride north to the Vermont lavender farm in derby, where the views will literally take your breath away. 

World famous kingdom trails bike system in East Burke is a beautiful 35 minute drive south, be sure to check them out if you’re a savvy on two wheels

Welcome to our beautiful property on Lac Brome near Bondville. We offer a flat, grassy surface surrounded by trees for parking your RV or Trailer of up to 40 ft (12.2m).&nbsp;

About the Property

We have a beautiful piece of land located around Lac Brome with gorgeous lake views accessed by a public beach close by. We have a pontoon boat and would be happy to offer you a pontoon tour of Lac Brome during your stay with us.&nbsp;

About the Listing

We can accommodate up to 3 RVs at once, with up to 4 adults per site. All of the sites are pull-through, flat, and can accommodate up to 40ft RVs. Please note as we do not have washroom facilities, your RV or Trailer must be self-contained. We can offer garbage removal (compost, recycling, and garbage) for your stay with us. We also welcome any pet travelling with you but please keep them on leash as we have two adorable cats we do not want to scare.&nbsp;
The town of Brome Lake is the home of the Three Pines Village from the notorious Louise Penny books série.
