"Nourished in Nature" is an accurate way to describe Kathleen's Tiny Tula cabin - it's such a cute and cozy cabin with running water, electricity, fridge, cooking tools, cozy firepit and more to make your getaway from the city so much more comfortable. Kathleen is a warm and friendly host and I enjoyed hearing all about the sweet rescues on the sanctuary! They were all so friendly and it was so relaxing to go out and visit/interact with them everyday during our stay. Would 100% recommend!

Weekend Trip to Nourished In Nature Tula Tiny Cabin

We stayed two nights at the cabin and had an incredible time: on a sunny day the sanctuary looks straight out of a Disney movie, with ducks, pot belly pig, cats, chickens, and shaggy Cindy (resident dog) roaming around. There’s also Angelina the turkey and Hank the goat who we got to meet and love. The cabin is tastefully decorated and very homey. It is like a tiny home, so perfect for a couple or two adults + a kid. Bed is very comfy and we slept well. The stairs up to the bed/loft is more like a steep ladder — if you have mobility issues it may be difficult. The little outdoor sink is perfect for washing up. The outhouse is right beside the cabin so do not need to walk far. The firepit, grounds and stargazing was the best part — we had a fire going both nights. There is a small charcoal grill for use, and electric stovetop inside the cabin. Water is potable via a foot pump. Kathleen was friendly, helpful, quick on communication and also gave us our space — the perfect host. If you love animals this is an ABSOLUTE GEM. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you for having us!

If you are planning for a nature retreat, you have to stay at Kathleen’s beautiful cabin. We absolutely loved her place. Our 2.5 years old daughter loved the place and all the friendly pets there. We stayed there for one night only, and it rained all day the first day, but the next morning we had an amazing time with the friendly turkey Angelina, the cats and the pigs. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the rain from inside. The outpost was clean as well. We did not face any problems with water or anything. Kathleen is an amazing host, we literally did not have to ask for anything, everything was so organized and the instructions were simple to follow. The thing we loved the most was her check-in and check-out time, unlike most other places, the timing here was very good! We highly recommend Kathleen’s cabin if you are two people or a couple with a small kid.

If you’re an animal lover this place is for you. You can mingle with the animals or just enjoy them in their natural surroundings! We made friends with many of the animals and they will be often thought of. The Tiny Cabin was more spacious than imagined. So much thoughtfulness to all the small details to make your visit memorable didn’t go unnoticed. It is very chic and inviting. Loved my stay! Very memorable. ❤️
