A 64 acre farm located just north of Uxbridge.  Just a few minutes away, we have some of the most popular walking, hiking, biking trails in Ontario.  We also have a walking path that surrounds our property that the campers will have access to.  There are lots of birds to watch, views of rolling hills, and wonderful farm lands to oversee. Come enjoy our peaceful space out in the country and have memorable camp fires with your family and friends.

Escape to 43 acres of open fields and forested land — perfect for stargazing and true seclusion. Just a short distance from the Doube’s Trestle Bridge, this peaceful clearing in the woods offers a getaway far from the noise and crowds.

We do live on the property and are happy to assist if needed.

The campsite is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake.&nbsp;Nestled in a corner of the Niagara Region just beyond Niagara Falls.  Picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake epitomizes old town charm where you can explore the area's several wineries, breweries, distilleries, world-class theatre at the Shaw Festival,&nbsp;and important historical landmarks surrounded by&nbsp;stunning waterfront views.&nbsp;

Leave your car on-site for the duration of your stay while you rent a bicycle to tour the area, sampling all that this rural small town has to offer.

While we have designated walking trails, we encourage visitors to wander freely, embracing the full experience of the forest at their own pace.

Beyond the breathtaking scenery, this is a working farm, home to a diverse collection of friendly animals. To ensure the safety of our animals and guests, we kindly ask that all dogs remain on-leash while walking the grounds.

Welcome to our property! We are on a scenic farm with lots of Rolling hills bordering the Ganaraska forest.The 11,000 acre Ganaraska Forest is one of the largest blocks of forested land in southern Ontario. The area provides abundant recreational opportunities and is managed for a sustainable yield of wood products.We have four campsites available for tent and RV campers.&nbsp;If you’re bringing an RV or trailer, we can accommodate vehicles up to 50ft in length. The site is flat and electrical and water hookups are available.&nbsp;Amenities include a toilet, water, and wifi.&nbsp;Activities nearby include hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, and swimming in our saltwater pool during the summer!Pets are welcome! Campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban.

Surrounded with forest to hike and spend time with nature. Lots of trees to enjoy, lovely place for a day trip or camping overnight, free well water, outhouse available to use.  Barn can be use to stay indoor for additional fee.

Tannery Lane

105+ acre private working farm nestled in picturesque Northumberland County, with horses, chickens, crops and stream, secluded campsite or park near the horse pasture.  Short distance from the Ganaraska Forest trails, or fishing on Rice Lake.  Market garden provides seasonal vegetables, food truck on site.  

Ideal spot accessible off the main driveway then through the opening that will accommodate smaller trailer and or tent 

Tranquility Base

2 acres of meadow with lovely views, fresh country air, and close proximity to Lindsay or Peterborough...Dry camping, best for those with tents or RV's less than 25'...Fresh water available - No dumping or bathroom facilities - 1 central supervised & monitored fire pit. Excellent Peace and Quiet spot

Tranquil Ten

Enjoy being in the Trail Capital of Canada with biking trails nearby and hiking trails at the end of our driveway.  FYI:  The first Urban National Park in Canada was announced in 2024, the entrance is ~1 km north east of our driveway.  Whether you live one or five+ hours from us, our comfortable ten acres will allow you to relax, de-stress, and reconnect with nature. If you're new to camping and forget something, we are only a two km walk to&nbsp;town. A small walking trail meanders through our property and we are avid birders, having once owned a wild bird nature shop  

We welcome any self contained travel trailer or RV's.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Enjoy use of horseshoe pits, open space for games (e.g. soccer, bocce, frisbee, badminton, etc.)  and feel free to ask, we may have those 'toys' to loan you during your visit.

Note 1:  Items in posted photos (e.g. chairs, table, canopy) are for presentation only, however; in the event you need use of such - please inquire and we'll do our best to accommodate during your stay.

Note 2:  Camp fires; we do have a portable campsite firebox, if municipal region fire ban is NOT in effect during your visit, we would happy to let you use during your stay. 
Bonus:  we'll supply the wood and everything you need to get that fire going at no additional charge.

Maple Glen Farms

Welcome to our Hipcamp. We offer a unique camping experience on our 75-acre farm located in the Kawartha Lakes near the village of Woodville.
Be sure to visit the local area, we are within a 15 minute drive of several restaurants, grocery store and the LCBO. The Kirkfield Lift Lock, Fenelon Falls, Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Lindsay are all within a 30 minute drive. There are miles of paved country roads and bike paths to explore the area. Enjoy your evening sitting around a campfire telling stories or listening to the tree frogs. The dark night sky is ideal for star gazing.

Farm fresh produce is available for purchase in season as well as small batch maple syrup from our own trees.

Please Note:

We are in an active farming area so expect the sounds and smells that go along with being in the country. 

Local country road traffic can be heard at times. 

There are no bathroom facilities available.

Dogs are welcome but they must be always on leash as we have a cat, chickens and wildlife that roam the property. We also ask that you clean up after your pet.

Campfires are permitted unless there is a ban in effect. 

We have seasonal insects we recommend you arrive prepared.

There are bee hives on the farm, site #4 is the closest to the hives

Located south of Bobcageons in beautiful Kawartha lakes city. 100 acres farm near Lake sturgeon and pigeon lake. A short drive to Lindsay. Endless outdoor activities in area. Shed for protection from elements If needed. Bring your calmer or trailer and explore this beautiful area surrounded by lakes rivers ponds and streams.

There is off-roading in the Northumberland trails located just off highway 45 roughly 10km from the site 

Rice lake is 13km away, there you can do some fishing, swimming, or boating!

Skiing/ snowboarding @Brimacombe Ski hill located 44km from site

Enjoy a wonderful time camping on our farm, where we have a camping area surrounded by forest. Our Campsite is in the small town of Little Britain and is just a few kilometres away, as are the shores of Lake Scugog. Take a free optional tour of our farm, if you wish. Pets are welcome but we ask that they remain to the confines of the site 

This property sits in a rural area in the Kawartha Lakes region, just north of Lake Scugog. Campfires are allowed in the firepit, and there is a pit toilet. The hosts offer fresh eggs and farm produce to purchase, as well as a firewood bundle that will be ready for you when you arrive; just select the options you are interested in at checkout.&nbsp;

The lakes area offers endless boating, paddling, fishing, and hiking opportunities. Nearby attractions include Emily Provincial Park at the bottom of Pigeon Lake, about 35 km east; Ken Reid Conservation Area at the southern tip of Sturgeon Lake, about 25 km north; and Sibbald Point Provincial Park about 50 km west on Lake Simcoe, which has a boat launch, hiking trail, and sandy beach. For restaurants, groceries, and shops, the town of Lindsay is 20 minutes away.

Sitting on the edge of Lake Scugog, there are many activities to enjoy nearby including fishing, boating, swimming, paddling, and more!There are also plenty of adventurous trails just minutes away from the cabin where you can hike or bike. The activities nearby are endless.The cottage is located in the middle of Port Perry (a 20-minute drive) and Lindsay (a 25-minute drive).&nbsp;The cottage is equipped with a couch, bed, tv, mini-fridge, coffee maker, electric cooktop, sink, and cooking utensils. It’s a limited area in the alpaca pen, with a queen-size mattress and only limited space beside it. In addition to that alpaca, behavior can be disappointing for children.Alpacas are very curious animals and they want to know who you are. If you sit/stand still they will come close to you and maybe give you a kiss. But they are also extremely timid and shy and do not like to be petted. But if you earn their trust they will let you touch them.
