I actually stayed at “The Glades” cabin that they also have hosted, and we are SO glad we came! From the moment we got there we were greeted by the friendly hosts and shown to the cabin, which was completely stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, and more. There was plenty room to walk around inside, and the view to the pond was beautiful. The entire property is very beautiful, and if you walk along the paths you will find a cute little cabin village they have created in the forests. It’s very magical. Firewood was provided and after we ran out we had no problem finding lots more wood to keep it running. If your looking for a fun little Camping escape this is definitely somewhere you should stay, either the Poor House, or the Glades you will very much enjoy the scenery. Well worth the visit and would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for being such lovely hosts

We had a great girls' weekend at Sarah's cabin. She and Mike were wonderful and welcoming hosts. We didn't need to ask them for anything, but they were accessible if we did. The cabin was clean and cozy with many thoughtful touches. It is tucked in a pine forest and feels very secluded. It was also great having the trails to hike on. Would stay here again!

We had a truly magical stay at this private cabin nestled among tall trees — it felt like stepping into a different world as we walked through the “secret path” to get there. The location was incredibly peaceful, quiet, and serene — the perfect escape from everyday noise. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and super comfortable — we slept like babies! Sarah was an amazing host — very responsive and thoughtful throughout. She quickly helped us with firewood and water, and was always just a message away for any questions. It was a solid 10/10 experience and we’d absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

Nobody around for miles - LITERALLY! on site if you like to ride and camp all at the same place. Gorgeous and serene ! Pricing for trail rides - sleigh rides separate. You can also bring your own horses for horse camping we have a beautiful new facility to accommodate almost any equestrian need. Upon arrival you can safely park your car and we can if desired carry your gear and you pack to the camping acreage via our tractor or golf cart or simply walk yourself - it’s not far. Our outhouse is near the main house - we have access to a SOLIS X for an extra fee if you need WIFI. Farm fresh eggs also available to cook over your fire from our 12 new and amazing chickens ! Free of charge ... we will do anything possible to make your stay comfy and relaxed. Please note - firewood is available for an extra fee (we prefer if you don’t bring your own since some can be infected with invasive species and we try to protect the area as much as possibles). Firewood is $6.00 a bag and typically includes starters and kindling) depending on the local supplier we use. Coming in the summer - fire pits - bunkies - GLAMPING - and more but for now - come walk / hike our endless trails lined with black berry bushes and wild strawberries along our “secret garden” and enjoy absolute privacy and solitude knowing we are sort of nearby if you need anything at all. This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community. It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night. The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead. There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company. Here is what the land offers: -Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023 -Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table -Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots.
