Beautiful natural bush camp spot. Far away from most sites. You will often here the stunning butcher bird songs. Special single group option to camp inside the natural bush at least 50m away from the next site site and one km away from a large group site.

You need to be semi self-contained. Drinking water nearby and a flush toilet available at walking distance along a beautiful bush walkway. Ideal for one to two caravans or camper vans who prefer more privacy. AWD preferred.

Best weather here May to November. Beautiful private Campsites on the 260 acre farm are our unique way to accommodate campers in lovely bush and treed surroundings. One hour north of Perth metro area means lovely warmer spots in the Autumn and Winter.

Lazy days & bird life at magpie

Had a lovely two-night stay at Magpie on Jabez Farm. Vic is a gracious host and his communication is first rate, answering any questions promptly. Detailed directions were provided and the self-check-in was simple, as was following the map provided to discover our site.

The Magpie site itself is tucked away in a little bush corner. A pretty, quiet spot, with plenty of shade and lots of bird life. A fire pit was ready for use and Vic provides firewood for purchase on request. He also came to the rescue lending us quilts and blankets when we realised we’d forgotten a sleeping bag in our rush and the clear nights definitely had a chill in the air! He made sure we were settled and after a friendly chat (and a pat of the dog) left us to enjoy our camp.

The Magpie site is probably the furthest from the flushing toilet, but it was an easy 5-minute walk through a bush path.

Jabez Farm has a number of sites available dependent on your needs as a camper, and group size. Would definitely recommend a stay if looking for a hassle-free getaway an easy drive from the Perth metro area.

Tranquil surrounds. The road leading to Magpie.A real flushing toilet!Sun setting on day one.
