Located on the beautiful Bruny Island you will find the small township of Adventure Bay where our Wallaby Field property is. Our property is just 100m from beach and has some stunning rainforest walks, spectacular cliffs and wildlife, including a resident population of albino wallabies. We have a pit toilet available for campers to use and campfires are welcome in the firepit provided. There is also plenty of firewood available. Sorry, no pets. Adventure Bay is the base of a number of Bruny Islands main walks and the The Adventure Bay Beach is a popular spot for swimming as it is quite sheltered. Bruny Island provides an amazing Tasmanian outdoor experience. You can explore one of the many beautiful bushwalks, coastal tracks or beaches. Explore the stunning coastline on an eco cruise, sail boat, or kayak. Bruny Island is home to fur seals, fairy penguins, albatross, wedge tailed eagles and many other native animals and birds. The Island is also known for it's delicious local produce including a variety of artisan cheese, oysters, seafood, berries, fudge, wine, whisky, gin, beer that you can enjoy at a selection of cafes and restaurants. We look forward to sharing this very special part of the world with you!

Will stop by again!
David and the Wallaby Field were absolutely amazing. David was accommodating and showed us around, telling us about all the local walks and activities. The field was spacious, and we were welcomed by wallabies on our arrival. Can't wait to stop by again!

Wallaby Field Adventure Bay
Eclectic & close to adventure
Dave was super easy to deal with on our last minute booking. Perfectly situated in close proximity to Bruny Island Cruises and heaps of walks. Heaps of ‘Roos including albino ones and some of our favs ‘turbo’ (local) chucks. Maybe a little tidy up of the paddock would make it more chilling during the day, but we were too busy and last minute ; so it didn’t bother us at all. Very “eclectic” collection of items around the property.

Wallaby Field Adventure Bay
Wallabies, the beach and a campfire
David was friendly and welcoming. His quirky farm was the perfect place to stay for the night, it had great scenery and plenty of friendly wallabies who came to say hello. A very short walk from the beach. Would definitely return!

Wallaby Field Adventure Bay
The name definitely suits! Had many inquisitive wallabies during our one night stay. David was very welcoming and the spot he set out for us was lovely and tranquil. Was also great to have an outdoor fire!
