What activities are available at the natural reserve near Barcaldine?

The natural reserve due west of Barcaldine is a great place for walking and birdwatching, with three walking loops weaving through the reserve and into the nearby town of Longreach. Around 130 types of birds, 22 reptile species, and a dozen mammals have been spotted in the park.
