Corn Patch Sarabah Stud
This is my third time at Sarabah Stud -each time I’ve tried a different “patch” but every time my experience has been fantastic. I was a little confused at first because I couldn’t see a sign that said “corn patch” like the other sites but we worked out where we were meant to be quickly. There were other people at the other sites but you can barely hear them and they were friendly. You feel like you’re far away from the hustle and bustle of life which helps to relax but it’s also conveniently located 10mins to cafes where we got a coffee one of the mornings. The creek was a refreshing alternative to a shower and the private portaloo is a big selling point for us girls. Rob provides quality wood for the bonfire at a low cost and was super friendly. The stars were shining brightly on both nights which made it extra magical. Love this spot and highly recommend it especially to beginner campers.

Recharge your soul
What an amazing peaceful place. We stayed for 2 nights and set our alarm each morning for a date with the platypus. It's amazing to actually spot it from our own camp-site.
The swimming hole was refreshing, but manageable at this time of the year.
The nearby winery/alpaca farm is a great place to go for lunch. My youngest son rated their pizza second best ever (runner up to a pizza we had in Venice).
As a half day trip we went to Lamington NP (40min) for a beautiful hike.
We didn't end up going to Canungra, but from previous visits a great spot to go for lunch.
I'd love to go back and recharge our "soul-batteries".

Platypus Hole Sarabah Stud
Nice site with decent and clean toilets. The entrance road is a little rutted so bring a high clearance car unless your a confident driver with an SUV of sorts. Rob is also very good host

Has the most beautiful scenery
It was a really beautiful spot and I really enjoyed staying there. The swimming hole was lovely and Robert was super helpful and even told us an about few fun activities such as a winery near the campsite. The site was larger than expected and was right next to the river. All round a really lovely place to stay.
