Hangar O is set on 160 acres located at Gunalda, 2 hours drive north of Brisbane on the Bruce Highway. There is a natural creek, spring fed billabong, 25 metre lap swimming pool with toddler pool, 400 metre airstrip with hangar and an abundance of natural wildlife. We have a variety of different accommodations options from unpowered camping to bell tents and more. Guests are welcome to bring pets depending on your choice of accomodation. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided. If you are looking for a wedding venue, special birthday or corporate function venue on the Fraser/Sunshine coast please send us an enquiry.

      Stunning camp with great facilities
      Stunning and well-maintained property with the option to camp or glamp. Toilets, fire pit, coffee, pool and BBQ facilities. I wish I had longer at Hangar O to enjoy the pool and facilities. We loved seeing the kangaroos around the property. Highly recommend for families or friend groups.

      At HangarO guests are left to their own devices which we liked as we readied our van for the road. The Hosts Darren and Sam checked in from time to time to make sure we were comfortable and had something interesting to talk about the property each time they came over. The check in process is relaxed, their facilities are clean well placed and great for all travellers. The pool is a welcomed relief from the hot days. An absolute bonus is that HangarO is pet friendly. We definitely recommend a stay here and would stay again.

      Plenty of space for the grandkids to ride . The property is beautifully maintained, pizza delivered and coffee made in the morning can’t argue with that .

      The facilities and homeliness of Hangar O made the four days completely relaxing. The hosts were welcoming and were always available which made our stay easy. Great space and room to move. Top pool. Fresh coffee Very clean toilets Best facilities we have been to for a private camp.

      We had a fabulous weekend at Hangar O, the hosts were welcoming. They have live music, a bar and coffee shop. There is also a great 25m pool . The fact that it's on 160 acres means there is plenty of space and they cap numbers so its not over run. One spot we will return too ! Only 20 mins from Gympie .
