Kimberley Alpine Resort is nestled in the Purcell Mountains of British Columbia, known for its reliable snowfall and excellent skiing conditions, typically from December to early April. The resort boasts a variety of terrain that caters to all skill levels, making it beginner-friendly with gentle slopes, while also offering more challenging runs for advanced skiers. There are terrain parks for those looking to practice their freestyle skills, and while the resort doesn't have extensive backcountry areas, it does offer some gladed terrain for off-piste adventures. Cross-country skiers can enjoy the nearby Kimberley Nordic Club trails. Night skiing is available on select evenings, adding an extra dimension to the skiing experience. The lift system includes a high-speed quad chairlift, among others, ensuring quick and efficient access to the slopes. The views from the resort are stunning, with the surrounding mountains providing a picturesque backdrop. Kimberley Alpine Resort is very family-friendly, with a range of activities such as ice skating, snowshoeing, and a kids' snow play area. While there aren't any dedicated snow tubing, snowmobiling, or sledding areas within the resort, the town of Kimberley and surrounding area offer additional winter activities to enjoy.
