Great campsite! Gerry was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed at site 4 and had beautiful views of the water. Would definitely go back.
This was an awesome camping experience. Gerry is an awesome host and helped us carry items and firewood to our site deep in the woods! The sites are awesome (We had site 5). Good distance from each other and we were able to enjoy our music and fireworks for Canada Day! If you are looking for a site close to Ottawa to camp, this is your place!

It's not professional at all! The host decided to cancel my reservation while I'm on the road to the camping site. I have invited some friends and it's really a very bad experience.
I definitely don't recommend this host at all.
Great campsites by the water very beautiful area. The wife and I along with our dog had a great canada day weekend. We will definitely be back. Gerry was very helpful and even let us relocate once we got there so our dog could be more secluded. Great fishing also. The wife caught a 20" catfish.

Gerry's land is beautiful. Situated in 130 acres that cover both the beautiful La Nation river and the Lemieux Mudslide of 1993, you can camp in all sort of locations. We stayed by a ledge overlooking the water. Most sites are accessible by car, except for a few true backcountry sites which are accessed via trails.
Trails explore the forest down to the water and through the mudslide. There is also canoes to access the river. 10/10 can't wait to come back!

We arrived and was directed to Gerry’s mom’s property and it was so quiet peaceful ! Lovely breeze blowing and Gerry was anxious to make sure we were happy ! It was our first time using a host property and l would recommend it !! Live life be flexible!!!
This location is special to any nature nut for its slanted trees alone. An after effect of the ice storm years ago.
Makes for some wicked hammock camping sites, yet said sites are large enough for any tent with accessories, all sitting on a ridge with great fishing on one side and great bedrock micro-rapids on the other.
Its a local gem.

What an awesome place to stay. We found it very tranquil and inviting. A very private setup with lots of beautiful nature. We will definitely be going again. Thanks to Gerry for the wonderful hospitality.
