Nestled into 80 undisturbed wooded acres in the Ozarks, Dockley Ranch provides unique getaway opportunities. Here, you will meet free-roaming alpacas, pastured goats, chickens, and our guardian dogs. Well-marked hiking trails lead from the house and garden through the woods, down to Columbine Falls and up through maturing oak stands.
Pull up a stool at the private Lafferty Cabin Bar along the trail to watch the sun set over the rugged Ozark hills. This newly constructed tavern resides under the preserved roof of an historic 19th century log cabin. Located 30 minutes from Ava, the “Treasure of the Ozarks,” and 1 hour from Springfield, Branson, and Mansfield, Dockley Ranch stands as an intentional preserve of natural beauty and peace of mind.

Myke and Claire were so kind and friendly! We enjoyed chatting with them as they gave us a tour of the property. The alpacas were adorable. Highly recommend the outdoor shower - so unique and fun! Our campsite was the perfect place to set up hammocks.
A whole vibe
As the kids say, this place is a whole vibe. We tent camped here and the spot was absolutely perfect. Myke and Claire are super rad and took the best care of us. Only book this spot if you like awesome nature, awesome hosts and awesome goats and dogs. I will definitely be back.
Loved it! :)
LOVED staying here! so peaceful and pretty, and Claire and Myke were such nice hosts!
Also loved seeing the cute dogs and goats!!
definitely hope to visit again, and have already recommended to several friends!!
One of the nicest primitive sites
One of the nicest primitive camp sites I've ever found. The hosts are very friendly & accommodating. The property is just spectacular. The trails are clean and wide. The pictures simply don't do the creek & waterfall justice. There's multiple camp sites along the creek to choose from. There is a short hike from parking, a few hundred yards, so leave the kitchen sink at home. The hosts do offer to transport your gear if you'd like.
Very peaceful & quiet. If you're lucky one of their fur babies might grace you with their company briefly.
