My sister and I stayed at Liz and Curtis's farm glamping site and would absolutely recommend it. The tent is gorgeous and the site is set up with so many special useful touches. It was really chilly the night we were there but they made sure we had plenty of blankets already supplied. The farm itself is beautiful, so much fun, and a wonderful learning opportunity of you're interested at all in sustainable agriculture.
Restful and peaceful
Peaceful and beautiful. It rained all night and it was wonderfully peaceful. Yes, roosters crow early because that’s what happens on a farm. The camp was perfectly set up, the cooking bin and propane stove made packing a breeze. Simple in and out, fine hosts. Also - fantastic eggs!
Had a nice time staying here with my daughter. We both were was amazed by the tent and the lights and loved the cozy glamp vibe. The tent is well decorated and plenty of blankets. We only stayed one night, but we could've stayed longer. Hosts were courteous and we enjoyed a tour of the farm as well as some fresh food to take home. Roosters woke us early but we were there for the experience so we just went with it. I'm not a morning person but I couldn't help but giggle at the sound of the laughing duck this morning. Enjoyed the sunrise with my cowboy coffee. Daughter is already asking when we can come back. Beautiful property and experience.
So glad i finally made it out here!
I’ve had this place favorited for over a year, and finally had the opportunity to make it out for two nights of solo time leading up to my birthday. I couldn’t be happier with the setup - I had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. I’m accustomed to tent camping, so this was actually quite luxurious! Only thing I would mention is that while there is a full bathroom available for use 24/7, it is a *hike* from the bell tent. I loved everything about my stay, have already recommended to at least 5 people, and will keep it on my list to hopefully visit again soon!
Cozy and comfortable
We had a great stay at Pony Hill Glamp at Dancing the Land! It was very cozy and comfortable in the yurt and we enjoyed being out in nature without the hassle of setting up our own tent. It was a short drive to Warner Lake County Park, where we had a nice picnic and nature walk near the lake. Overall we would recommend glamping at Pony Hill!
We had a lovely time camping at Dancing the Land! The tent is clean and stylish. The organic produce is delicious! It was so nice to unplug for a night and camp without all the work of packing gear. We suggest bringing earplugs unless you like a 4am wake up call from roosters. Thank you, Liz & Curtis for sharing your farm with us!
The tent and surroundings are gorgeous. So peaceful and serene. Bed was super comfy and my daughter enjoyed the bed they set up for her on the floor. We loved walking around the farm as well and meeting chickens, roosters, ducks and goats. Stove set up made making coffee and breakfast super easy. You will hear roosters in the morning, but it is a working farm. We will be back!
Our stay at Dancing the Land Farm was wonderful! The land is gorgeous and vibrant. This was our 2-year old's first trip away from home, and the yurt and beds were so comfortable that he actually slept through the night! Liz and Curtis have taken great care to make the yurt cozy and fabulous! It was fun to meet the goats and chickens, and exciting to cook meals outdoors. There is a lovely park and swimming beach nearby -- Warner Lake -- which cooled us off from the heat. We took the farm tour and learned a lot -- most of all how this farm is truly a labor of love.
