I loved this place. Super peaceful and nice. Will be booking again often.

We stayed for one night with a tent. Nick and Teresa were very helpful prior to our trip and were quick to respond to our messages. The location is beautiful, right along a river. The top area is very spacious and gave us lots of area to run around with our dog. The outhouse was clean and well kept. We parked our car at the top but there is a short path that leads down to another area where we set up our tent. Both the top and bottom areas are really pretty, there is potable water and access to the river from the bottom area. One thing to note is this location is very very close to a busy road. The noise from the cars was noticeable through out the day and can see cars passing from the location. At night this was not an issue especially since we set up our tent farther down the path and it quieted down enough to sleep. This is a perfect spot for rv camping but it was quite noisy and not very secluded when tent camping.

Nick and Teresa’s Boondock Ridge is easily one of my favorite spots to camp! My family and I make it a point to come here at least 2-3 times during the camping season. Beautiful views, peaceful spot, close to hiking, kind people!

Nancy, We are pleased that you enjoy our campsite. Yes… the dock is going in next weekend:-) Thank you for the kind review. Nick and Teresa
I stayed in late fall (November) beautiful this time of year. Very open area stars bright put that together with a fire pit, and steak and your having a great evening. Close to both West Branch and Gladwin Incase you feel the need to interact with others. Looking forward to my next stay.
We love staying here, what a fun location and beautiful as well. Very easy to set up camp and a lot of things to do in the area! The hosts are great and attentive .

Great having you again! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay:-) Nick and Teresa
Boondock Ridge was very pleasant. As many have said, the road noise was something to deal with during the day, but at night, you almost forget it's there. Nick and Teresa were wonderful hosts. The view from this property was outstanding! This was the perfect boondock site. There was plenty of sunlight for solar needs, yet plenty of shade to the side for a hammock. The outhouse was immaculate. The spring for water was easily accessible, and quite a nice touch. The firepit was HUGE. I will definitely be back
What can I say that hasn't already been said? This place is awesome! We all know it. Simple, private, and safe. 100 times better than crowded state parks that take months to get in. We did not mind the road noise at all, who wouldn't love the sounds of motorcycle?
This place has everything you need. Without all the bugs. Clean bathroom, running water, river access and hosts who answer your questions quickly. Glad we brought a huge umbrella to provide much needed shade on the upper level. And our tubes to chill in the river.
The river is cold and clear with sand bottom. Artisan well water is great. Nice to camp on mowed grass. The composting toilet was clean and worked great. We had a lot of rain while we were there but it soaks away quickly, no mud. It is a beautiful place and enjoyed it although there is some road noise. We liked the fact that there is only one campsite so we had it all to ourselves.
