*Seasonal campfires allowed in designated fire pit from May - November, pending conditions* A 5-minute drive from the beachside hamlet of Prevelly - including the famous Surfers Point and Margaret River Main Break - and 7 minutes from Margaret River township, this peaceful private site offers the best of both worlds. A stone's throw from an array of sensational wineries, the beautiful Boranup Forest, breathtaking beaches, pumping surf breaks, mountain bike trails and the Cape to Cape hiking track. A fully sheltered and powered campsite with lighting, hot shower, flushing toilet, potable rainwater for drinking, along with a kitchenette with sink, fridge, kettle, toaster. Private outdoor deck with a table and two chairs, and a portable BBQ for your use. Loosely compacted gravel suitable for vans, camper trailers, rooftop tents and regular tents or swags. Surrounded by beautiful marri and peppi trees with own private access road. Owners onsite if you need anything but happy to leave you to your privacy if not. Caravans please enquire with info about your van and experience navigating corners first.*Seasonal campfires allowed in designated fire pit from May - November, pending conditions* The Retreat is a private, fully undercover weatherproof campsite with exclusive ensuite bathroom with hot shower, vanity and flushing toilet, and kitchenette with fridge/kettle/toaster. Private outdoor deck has a table and two chairs. No other campers are on the property. Owners’ residence is onsite, approximately 100m away but not visible from campsite. Guests will have access to the immediate area surrounding the campsite but not the entire property. Access is by private unsealed driveway. Please note that you will need to bring your own linen including bath towels and tea towels, as well as all cookware, crockery and cutlery. There is a small portable bbq but no gas stove so you may like to bring your own. Phone signal is limited to none, depending on which provider you're with, but is available if you go for a short walk out via the surrounding roads.

A delightful stay!
TJ's communication is absolutely top notch - super friendly, detailed, keen to know what you have planned for the area so specific recommendations can be made! Nothing was too much trouble! The campsite is delightful, easy to find and a great location. We loved sitting on the little deck of a morning with our books listening to the birds, and particularly appreciated the wonderful welcome with sourdough, wine and a personalised note. We did have some minor trouble so worth noting that even though the listing says it can accommodate up to 30 amps - the limitation is really 10 amps unless you have a converter. Fortunately we had back up solar power for our campervan! Also, there is no clearance height listed but our 3.2 metre van was too high for the shelter. Also didn't really make a difference for our enjoyment of the stay but it is worth noting for other people! :) Overall, would absolutely stay again in this delightful area of the world!

Camping with amenities
Very private and secure. It feels like camping in the woods but so close to MR town. The amenities were the game-changer! Imagine undercover camping with kitchenette, weber bbq, toilet and hot shower! It was a rainy long weekend in MR but not a problem with this site. Five stars for TJ for excellent communication and nice personal touches were much appreciated - complimentary home made sourdough, butter, milk, coffee, tea, sugar and even marshmallows to roast! I kept the welcome card TJ hand-wrote for us. Thank you. Highly recommended!

Great Stay at The Retreat
Was great staying at The Retreat. The location was private and minutes to the beach and Margaret River centre. TJ was very responsive and checked in on us in the morning after we camped and had a storm overnight. Would definately recommend.

Highly recommend the surfers sanctuary retreat, has everything you need any your undercover!!Absolutely gorgeous spot, you don’t feel like you’re only 5-10min from town. Host was lovely, arriving early evening with lights left on to find my way and freshly made sourdough. Would definitely stay there again. 😊
