Beautiful virgin, native rural land in Lower Chittering with a total land area of 87.7 acres (35 hectares). The land is fully enclosed by a wire fence, fire breaks all around the property and an unsealed road from the front gate leading all the way into the property where a small piece of land has been cleared for space to park cars, caravans, motorhomes etc. The land is very well located being in a peaceful, tranquil and scenic location yet still very close and accessible to Perth city and suburban areas. It is only a 55 minute drive to Perth CBD and only a mere 30 minutes to Joondalup. There is the famous Stringbark restuarant neighbouring the land which offers 5 star dining. The land itself consists mainly of rich fertile soil and red clay. There are many diverse native trees and plants including grasstrees, jarrah, redgum, white gum, banksia, yellow morrison flowers, kangaroo paws just to name a few and many other native wildflowers, flora and fauna. In amongst the nature there is alot of wildlife (goannas, lizards, birds etc) especially kangaroos which can be seen regularly throughout the rural land. The property also has a water bore and a few winter creeks running through the land. There is a spectacular and picturesque hilltop view overlooking Chittering Valley at the highest point on the lot This property is perfect for tourists/visitors seeking a tranquil and silent nature retreat in the Perth wildlife region and hills.Bring your caravan, motorhome, campervan, etc 600m down the block's main road and park in the cleared land to enjoy all the native, virgin environment including the flora and fauna all around. If you're lucky you'll see a mob of kangaroos passing right through! If you are looking to relax in isolation in a beautifully tranquil place in peace with only the sounds of the native wildlife this is the perfect setting for you! All campers must be fully self-sufficient, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you take all waste with you. There is also the famous Stringbark Restaurant just a block away where you can enjoy fine dining in a splendid setting. You can also follow the road from the main camping area and travel up to the top of the hill where there is a concrete pad to park the motorhome/campervan and take in the sweeping, picturesque views over Chittering Valley. It is truly amazing!

Chittering Nature Retreat
Beautiful retreat in nature
Loved our stay here. Amazing location. Only 35 minutes from Joondalup but is totally remote and tranquil. The Stringybark restaurant and Vineyard is down the road which is convenient.

Chittering Nature Retreat
Great spot but no privacy or space
This is a beautiful spot however when we arrived to where we assume was the site, there was another camper with a caravan within 25m of the only other camp site. We couldn't see how this would be 2 'dispersed' sites so drove around to a dead end /inaccessible road where there was a sign 'walk only'. We tried to call the host over 5x and texted however, almost 24 hours, still no response. $54 to be on top of other campers, without any other facility is far too steep. It is a beautiful spot of bushland which would be advantageous if the sites had some privacy. Great spot for a few couples/ one group otherwise not a spot if you don't know the other camper.

Stunning quiet views
We loved staying here. Even managed to get our vintage 22 ft van to site with no dramas. We got there at night time and woke up to the most amazing view with the whole place to ours selves. Thank you so much! The kids loved the swing 🩷

Bush camp close to home
We had a 3 night stay, we had some pretty rainy and windy nights, but that didn't matter. The surrounding bush and the view on the site at the top of the hill was so nice. There is plenty of firewood and downed trees to cut or collect. A little bit sandy to camp in, but easier with a ground matting. 35 minutes from our place. We will be back with our 2 kids and 2 dogs. Thanks for having us.
