136 acres of lush farming land comprising many native flora and fauna plus the farm animals. The farm grows its own food an d has a sustainable approach to farming, creating a great place to see how to grow food and how the animals all play their part in keeping our gardens pest free and the garden helps to feed them in return. The farm is in a cosy little nook in the valley with a year round running creek, beautiful gum trees, with kangaroos, deer and koalas naturally migrating through our property regularly. This secluded farm means peace and quiet, you can hear the birds, breeze in the trees and nearly no traffic completing the serene experience. This beautiful farm stay has super friendly pigs who are due to have piglets in March 2023, friendly cows, a horse and pet sheep that can be fed and petted during your stay. Located in the Strzelecki Ranges this country provides a mix of bush land and farm land only 40 mins to beautiful beaches. The camp-site has easy road side access & option for powered site. We offer this opportunity to completely self contained campers only. We do not supply water, toilets, laundry or bathroom facilities. Dump points for camping and caravan toilets is located nearby at korumburra Showgrounds or Leongatha Caravan park (fees may apply).Set up camp with the natural bush and creek right next to you. This grassed area is mainly flat and would still require some levelling if staying in a van. Enjoy the fire pit during times of no fire ban. With easy road access you won't feel closed in but still in the quiet little nook of the elder oak. Explore your surrounds using our farm tracks and paddocks to explore whilst meeting the animals and native fauna on your travels. A quick 5 min walk takes you to the main residence with a huge vegetable garden, chickens and ducks.

The Elder Oak
Great stay
We loved every minute of the stay. We got to meet the pigs and piglets and Lisa and her family were very welcoming! Supplied us with wood, water and electricity. It was a great stay and can't wait to come back for longer!

The Elder Oak
A relaxing time to be had.
We really enjoyed our stay at Elder Oak. Lisa and her family were very friendly and helpful and were happy for us to wander about and explore the property. The family were always around if we needed to ask anything while being respectful of our privacy. As you would expect, there are animal noises (cows, sheep, koalas, magpies, parrots, kookaburras, rosters...) but it still felt peaceful and quiet. The farm is in a beautiful area with fantastic views, wildlife and lots of friendly farm animals. There is plenty of room to set up in the field and although it's next to the road there was so little traffic that you kind of forget it's there.

The Elder Oak
Elder Oak is a lovely little spot nestled in amongst the rolling hills of the Strzeleckie Ranges. The site itself is private (if facing a very quiet country lane) and grassy. There is a slight tilt to parts of it, so would recommend factoring that in when choosing where to pitch. It was really helpful to have access to a power connection, and enabled us to work remotely! It made a great base to explore South Gippsland - not too far from Leongatha and about 40 mins down to Inverloch. Lisa is a warm and generous host, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were even able to utilise an empty bell-tent to save us pitching late at night! The garden goodies and friendly farm animals were a definite plus. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The Elder Oak
Powered site with friendly owners
Lisa was friendly and clear and the paddock was easy to find! The chairs and the fire pit were a lovely touch and it was nice to see the sheep wandering around near us. The surrounding area has beautiful rolling hills, which we would have loved to explore had we stayed longer. 5/5
