Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Ten On Pender is situated on a peaceful 5 acres just 10mins from San Remo and 30mins from Cowes. It's the perfect base to explore the area which is renowned for it's fishing, beaches, penguin parade, motor racing, chocolate factory, wildlife parks, restaurant's and much more. All of our sites are grassed and each have individual access to a water tap. Suitable for caravans, trailers, motorhomes and vans. Those using a tent will need to note that we are located in a coastal environment and therefore are subject to strong winds from time to time, so please come prepared with extra poles and ropes! Just a short stroll from all sites is our self-contained granny flat. Our granny flat, whilst it does not contain any beds is perfect for those caravans or campers without their own facilities. When booking these sites you will have shared access to a kitchenette, BBQ, bathroom (BYO towels or pre-purchase a towel pack) and toilet for your stay. Ten on Pender welcomes dogs on site. Being that we live in a rural area with farm animals, wildlife and as a courtesy to other Hip Campers- dogs must remain on lead or contained at all times and are not to remain onsite unattended if you are heading out. We do however, offer a dog minding service through our extras page as we have found that sometimes campers want to head out for the day exploring places where their furry friends may not be welcomed! The property which is home to our family of 5 also has sheep, chickens and a pet rabbit! While on-site feed a sheep (you maybe lucky to pat baby lambs depending on the time of year), pre-purchase fresh eggs for breakfast and stargaze around a firepit during the cooler months (April-October)

Happy campers
Thanks Erin & Greg for allowing us to stay on your property! Directions to site were easy to follow. Sites were clearly marked and it was great to have access to running water on the site. The weather didn't work in our favour, but our kids still had an absolute ball. Was also great to have a place to bring along our pup, Casper, who loved watching the chickens and sheep roaming around in the distance. The granny flat was a huge advantage. It gave us a place to hide out and have dinner when the weather got a bit wild.. Thanks again for being our first hicamp experience :-)

Granny flat facilities a plus
Erin was happy for our group to set up our caravans in a formation we wanted. It was very private as the property was in a no through road but the owners live very close to the sites and always around. Sheep poo on the sites but were not fussed. We just walked around them. The granny flat facilities were great to have. Coffee machine was not working properly but we didn’t need it. One good thing was that no shoes were allowed in the flat which kept it clean. $25 for wheelbarrow of firewood (nothing else) seems pretty steep. Each site had a tap but the water from them tasted awful. The nearby Bass Highway was busy most of the time but we got use to the noise of the traffic after a while. Only one rubbish bin available so not enough for the four sites. One small recycling bin. We took our recycling home. Nothing on the listing that says you had to take rubbish home. The site is close to (ten minutes drive) beaches which is great.

Great site - really appreciated access to the fab facilities in the granny flat (shared facility, with access not just from other campers, but from owners too) and helpful info from Erin.

Lovely stay at Erin and Greg’s
I loved tent camping at Erin and Greg’s. Directions were very clear and easy to find our site. Very friendly and welcoming. It was so nice having access to the granny flat, the facilities were kept super clean and such a treat having access to a cup of tea! Good location for visiting Philip Island

The location of Erin and Greg‘s was a great launching point to get to San Remo and Cowes. They have a flat block which is great for camping 🏕️ or setting up a camper an. The shower, toilet and kitchenette on site were always kept clean and neat which made our stay very pleasant. The best part was being able to bring our little dog with us. Erin and Greg also offered to dog sit for a small fee so that we could take the kids to watch the penguin parade on Phillip Island, which was a real highlight for us.
