There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields.

The Long Hole
Fantastic part of the world. Mark is an absolute gem, makes you feel extremely welcome. Sites are so spacious and far enough away from each other. We will certainly be back.

Island Bend
A lovely little river bend site.
We went for a night (in the middle of winter). It is a lovely little camp spot. The pics probably tell you but it is quite rolly, but plenty of spaces for tents. Easy to get to. Thanks also to Mark who came out to check that we were settling in and if we had any questions. The little river is lovely and the bird life around is gorgeous as well. Would easily sleep the 10 recommended - we went as 2.

Creek Flat
It was a beautiful, peaceful place to camp. Near the running creek and the huge gum trees.

The Serenity
We have been to Creek Flat before. And it’s the site, the isolation and Mark the host is why we come back. It’s 10/10.

Island Bend
I had a great couple of nights at Marks island bend site. It felt secluded and totally peaceful, beautiful big gums and a small trickling stream. The site was well signposted and after setting up Mark came for a chat and let me know a little about the properties amenities and great places to walk. I will bring my family and be back.
