This property was originally part of a large farmland, divided into 5 acre lots. When we purchased in 1997, there wasn't a single tree on the place. Over the years, we have revegetated the property with native and indigenous bushland, created a wetland that attracts many native animals including birds, lizards, possums and frogs to name a few. Enjoy a hidden country escape on our 5 acre property on the Mornington Peninsula. Property features a wetland with jetty, roaming peacocks, chickens and sheep in an open woodland setting. A relaxed country atmosphere conveniently located near beaches, wineries, op shops and restaurants. Up to 3 sites available (max 1 caravan/camper or 2 tents/dwellings per site) Ideal for groups or individual campers. Our property is surrounded on two sides by reserve, the Balcombe Creek and bushland. BYO gear and set up in the paddock. We will meet you on arrival and direct you to the campsites. Access to a flushing toilet and a cold water tap/cold water shower with potable drinking water. We prefer no dogs due to peacocks and sheep and our own dogs... but please ask before booking anyway, and we will accommodate on a case-by-case basis. We are a 5 to 10-minute drive to the beautiful bay beaches of Mornington and Mt Martha and a 20-minute drive to Westernport bay and the surf beaches. Close to the nearly 60 wineries on the Mornington Peninsula, an abundance of restaurants, Peninsula Hot Springs and other attractions such as Arthurs Sea Eagle cable car, Enchanted Maze Garden, and many amazing bush walks.Enjoy a hidden country escape on our 5 acre property on the Mornington Peninsula. The property was very scenic and relaxing. The kids loved the guinea pigs and sheep. Barney the dog was also another favourite. We are definitely coming back next year..

Quiet and relaxing!
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our quiet and relaxing stay on Leanne's property! There are 4 sites close together on one patch of land, but still enough room for you to have some privacy. We love quiet bushland escapes and this was perfect for us. The only tiny negative is that axe provided to chop wood was blunt so it was kind of hard to chop our firewood but that's just me being picky. We'd absolutely recommend this site! Thanks to Leanne for having us and for being so nice to greet us and have a chat!

Even if you are pretty close to your neighbors on the campsite, the warmth of the host and the confort makes up for it ! Really enjoyed the conversation and the presence of the many pet animals (sheeps, Guinea pig, dogs). I also appreciated the axe available to cut wood for a campfire ! Toilets were also very clean and homey, which is usually not a given while camping : thanks for having me !

Great spot for weekend getaway
Nice spacious site. Host came out to greet us upon arrival to provide us with information. There was a nice clean toilet on the campsite. It was lovely to meet the dog Barney and the site had cute little Guinea pigs and sheep too. Very close to some great wineries on the peninsula and also the hot springs!

Great for kids!
When we first arrived, it wasn’t what we expected, but the longer we stayed, the more we loved it. The kids had the best time- playing with the guinea pigs, going on the swing and petting Barney and bob (the dogs). We had enough room to have our tent and a little one with a 6x3 marquee in between to protect us from the rain. It was tight, but we fit and were comfortable. There were two other families staying there at the time too (who were lovely) and they were quite close together (sites 3 and 4 I think) but we had enough distance to each do our own thing and still feel like we had space. But the other site was empty so that helped it feel a bit more spacious. If you have kids who love animals and a bit of adventure- this place is fabulous! Can’t recommend it highly enough.
