Inglewood is a 130-acre property currently running beef cattle and sheep. The property has 15 acres of remnant stringy bark scrub which abuts the Heysen Trail. This private campsite is contained within the scrub although campers have access to the whole property. There are 11 bespoke sites available but only 8 sites are offered at any one time so campers can have their privacy. The whole campsite can be hired exclusively for large groups - contact me direct for booking details and costs. A wood package can be purchased for $50 the communal fire circle. We offer sites suitable for camper trailers, campervans, cars, rooftop tents, tents and swags (sorry, no large caravans). During the non fire ban period all fires must be contained in the fire pits provided. Some firewood is supplied for you. Please bring firewood if you intend to have a campfire for an extended period or you may purchase pink gum $15 for 20 kgs. A communal camp kitchen, barbecue, rain water and tables available. A composting toilet is available as is a solar and rocket shower system. Colloquially known as God's Country the property is conveniently located 1hr 20 mins from Adelaide, 14 mins from Victor Harbor, and 20 mins from Pt Elliot, Middleton, Waitpinga and Parson's beach, Hindmarsh Falls and Normanville. Other nearby localities are Deep Creek National Park, Newland Conservation Park, Springmount National Park, Granite Island and the Kangaroo Island ferry. The popular Belicious Belgium Cafe is a 60 min walk or 5 minute drive from the campsite. Walkers on the Heysen trail can access the campsite 100 metres away. An erected walker's tent is available for booking. The tent is located away from the campsite in the middle of the scrub and has chairs, tables and a fire pit for walkers use. Please note that the campsite has a no noise/music policy after 9pm The Scrub Campsite was honored to have won 1st place for best campsite in South Australia for 2024. Damview Site 1
Miss Opal's weekend wrangling 6 tee
I was booked in for a weekend to take my son and his friends (thankfully the teenagers were quiet and respectful to everyone involved and to my delight no wild partying), I had covid the week we were supposed to camp and thankfully Mark accommodated us without doing a cancellation and rebook. Mark was truly great, the real authentic camping vibe, he was fully booked when we went but was happy to have us in the neighbouring paddock, good idea as I was nervous with 6 teenagers and noise but turned out I worried for no reason. Great spot, plenty of space, well kept camp site, composting toilet and solar shower ( boys needed one after a Saturday footy game at goolwa). Great position, gorgeous scenery, pleasant helpful Mark, pretty sunsets. Highly recommended.

Damview Site 2
Great Dam View Site
The Scrub Block was beautiful. We had Dam Site 2 and it was a lovely spot at the end where we could really spread out and enjoy a nice campfire with toasted marshmallows and s’mores. Mark was a fantastic host and answered all our questions. He was so friendly and helpful which made us feel welcome. There were some go carts which the kids enjoyed rolling down the hill in and we were able to go for some nice walks on Mark’s property which was absolutely stunning. We would definitely go back again!

Scrub site
Nice part of the fleurieu. Felt pretty secluded on site 2. A few unlevel sites not really suited for tents/swags but others big and flat. Nice sunrise and sunsets with a friendly owner. Will be back

The Scrub Campsite, Inman Valley
Lovely weekend getaway!
I loved the site we had, it was perfect for sitting in the sun during the day. The table and chairs provided was nice as well as the big drum firepit. We really appreciated that firewood was provided for the couple of nights we were there and Mark was super friendly and easy going. I do wish there was more lighting at night for the camp kitchen and one more toilet would be great.
