Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer Ranges and is on the Bremer River in Rockleigh. This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area. We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums- surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags. The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully. We are 45 minute drive from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region. We are only 30 minutes drive from Monarto Conservation Park which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals. We have a toilet available but please BYO toilet paper. From the 15th April fire are allowed. & portable firepits are available for your use Sorry, not pets.

Site 3 The Sticks
The Sticks
Great little spot. We camped in Site 3 'The Sticks' which is elevated above the other 2 sites and a good distance from the other 2 sites. Weather has been fairly dry so only a couple of small spots had water in the River. Is steep to drive down in and particularly out if you have a large van or motorhome be mindful. We camped in a soft floor camper and fitted well in the spot so plenty of room. $20 bags of fire wood can be bought on site either cash or bank transfer which is great if you run out or don't carry any (good quality and amount). Internet/phone signal is also good down in the gully and at your site. Had some sheep come through the area and feed around the site so the kids thought that was great Monarto Zoo 20 mins away and Murray Bridge is around 30 mins. Thanks Rodney

Site 2 The Carobs
Great location, close drive to Mannum, monarto and Murray bridge. The three camp sites are about 50-100m apart from each other, the sites are nice and flat. The host makes available gas heaters and bags of firewood at a reasonable fee which is handy. There was a long drop that was clean and did the job. There were creeks and scenery but it was largely dried up. The main negative for us was that the sites were all dirt and dust after a dry summer - no grass anywhere. The dirt was very fine so any wind puts campers in a dust storm. We would go again in the right season in the hope there was some more grass and greenery.

Site 1 The Gums
This spot is pretty and peaceful, such a great place to escape from the city. Toilet and whole campsite clean. Loved sitting by one of the waterholes bird spotting and watching a native water rat. Special thanks to Rodney for jump starting our flat battery 😊

Site 3 The Sticks
A million miles away ..
Fantastic property - feels a million miles from anything but only an hour out of Adelaide. 3 big campsites with different feels to each and option to use fire pits/bbqs and wood for purchase. Great exploring the property on foot - looking forward to returning in a few months when the river is flowing, the grass is green and the Pymbroke sheep have little lambs. Wonderful hosts - very responsive when we needed to ask questions. Also showed us around their array of farm animals - lots of baby animals.

Site 1 The Gums
Our family had a great time here. Lots of space for the kids to explore. We went during fire ban season but there is a really nice communal fireplace that I look forward to using next time. There are only a couple of sites and they are well spaced.
