Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. Kookaburra Nest

Exceptional hosts & site

Trish was beyond helpful for our eventful stay due to bad weather. Could not fault her dedication to the farm stay. Although we had terrible weather we will definitely be returning and bringing our friends with us for another stay. Sites as spaced well enough away from each other and the long drops were the best we have ever encountered. Couldn't recommend this farm stay higher. 20/10.

Campers Cave

Great spot, easy directions, hosts were lovely. There was plenty of room for all the campers and you weren’t on top of each other. Definitely recommend

Hills View Paddock

Stunning camping spot!

What a beautiful spot! Stunning landscapes all around and a beautiful spot (the sunset bar) to sit and watch the sunset. We picked a windy time to come which was a bit unfortunate as we were in a swag, but we will definitely be back when the weather is a little warmer and less windy! Trish is a very friendly and welcoming host too! 😊

Livin on the Ledge

Lovely property, close to wineries, great sunset bar. A little muddy in the wet so probably want an AWD or 4WD if it has rained.

Milky Way Hut

This was my second visit and again found it very peaceful and relaxing. I had beautiful sunrises and sunsets from my site with lots of sheep and birds for company. Great to have somewhere so affordable and close to town for a quick getaway. Silo site is perfect for winter with somewhere sheltered and comfortable to cook and warm up if too wet and windy outside. Trish is brilliant and again provided great wood, showed me to my site and made sure I was comfortable during my stay.
