Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater to large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. Gum Tree Paddock

Away from the crowds!

We met Trish at the gate, such a lovely person , Trish made us feel so welcome right from the beginning, showed us around , ( The Sunset Baaaa) we had a big pile of wood waiting and ready to go. Trish even supplied an ice pack ( needed for a knee injury) we would recommend Edge Hill Farm to all. ( we are hoping for some rain so their crops will flourish ) ps met lovely Pete as we were leaving, ( he’d been out dry seeding ) Pete also had time for a chat - we’ll certainly stay again - very peaceful , spotlessly clean farm stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hills View Paddock

The camping spot was beautiful! We stayed at hills view and Trish greeted us when we arrive and took us to our camp. Beautiful sunrise, and some nice spots to do a good walk. Looking forward to coming again!

Lovers Lane

It's a lovely farm a short way from Riverton. Where the campers are is a fair distance from the home so you don't feel like you're on someones property at all. All campers are far apart so every site is private. Trish and Pete greeted us with friendly warmth and genuine hospitality. Trish is who we dealt with the most and see was a really genuine lovely lady. It was like talking to an old friend. We will definitely be back and this time might book the Milky way hut site.

Refreshing camp sites.

Lots of campsites available, Trish was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Lots of room for big groups of camping. Dog friendly as well.

Central Edgehill

Amazing stay at Edgehill farm stay! Trish and Peter were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. We loved the little extras such as the sunset bar, mini put put, footy goals etc. As well as having wood delivered to your site for a small extra price. We will definitely be back!
