The Hill - 4wd Access Only
Farm, Family and Stars
Great relaxing weekend we had. We were able to get our Off-road 21ft Caravan to the Hill area which had lovely views of the Farm. Each morning and afternoon we were greeted by the Cattle that passed by. The Horses enjoyed the Carrots and attention also.
This is a great location for exploring the Bunya Mountains which are nearby.
For our first farm stay we haven’t hesitated in booking another weekend away there to finish of exploring the area.

Loved camping at Tinara beautiful view over the valley. Very secluded camp sites there was nobody around us except for the cows that enjoyed the camp fire as much as we did. I loved the fact you can collect firewood from the paddock really makes it feel like camping & it was one of the reasons I chose to camp at Tinara. We will be coming back with friends soon!

Really peaceful quiet spot with a nice view over the rolling hills. We had to share the warmth of the fire with the cows at times, but other than eating with their mouth open and questionable toilet habits, they were good company. The Bunya Mountains, Muntapa Tunnel, and Cooma Falls were all a short drive away and all well worth visiting.

Great campsite. Plenty of space and very quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a campsite all by yourself, this is good option. It’s definitely 4wd access but wasn’t hard for our Prado and hybrid camper trailer. I’d happily stay here again. Plenty of fire wood around which you can collect.

Tinara was an absolute fantastic stay. Quentin was an amazing host, giving us great instructions for property access and where we could find firewood. The campsites were well spread out and gave a great feel of privacy even though we knew other campsites were booked. Being a working farm it was amazing to be surrounded by calm, placid but curious livestock, they were unbothered by our sudden appearance. My biggest mistake was not having a special treat for the ponies… my open hand was met with an eager nibble and then some of the worst side-eye ever experienced (even worse than my teenager kids)! It is always great to get back to the country and I know we have found a property we would love to visit again.
