Sarabah is a 300 acre working cattle property located along the upper reaches of the pristine Canungra Creek and in the foothills of the Lamington National Park. Access is possible in 2WD in fine weather but 4WD will be needed in wet weather. Guests must be fully self-contained including toilet and drinking water - no facilities provided. We ask for minimal impact - removal of all waste and rubbish is the guest's responsibility. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. Open fires permitted only in fire pits provided - subject to local restrictions when applicable. Firewood is available and delivered to your campsite. Please message Steve 48 hours prior to arrival if you would like firewood. We currently have 8 campsites that can be booked: The Campground (site 1), The Secret Spot (site 2), The Picnic Ground (site 3), The Overflow (site 4), The Rock Shelf (site 5), The Nook (site 6), The Paddock (site 7) and The Cranny (site 8). All sites have creek frontage and are private and a reasonable distance away from other sites. Note: vehicles, camper trailers, caravans and toilets are not to be set up within 10m of the creek as per local government by-laws. When booking, select one of these 8 sites and you will have exclusive use of that site for your stay. Please note that the price is per person and all guests must be included when booking. Bookings can be altered (guests added and deleted) by the person making the booking and it is their responsibility to collect payment from others for whom they have booked and paid. Please ensure you check the specific directions to your site in "My Trips" (in your profile area) when you have a confirmed booking.

The Overflow
Can't keep us away!
Always a wonderful weekend at Sarabah. So many others Hipcamps have popped up in the area, no doubt as a result of Sarabah Camping's popularity. Only the O.G will do for us! Sites are well kept and private. So easy to book (just have to get in early!). The Overflow is a smaller site but it's flat, grassed and could fit 2-3 vans close together. There's minimal creek access if you want to swim but if you just want to enjoy a drink by the babbling water, this site checks that box. The cows come for a wander past throughout the day so well mannered dogs on lead recommended. We have 3 more trips booked already in the future... we love this place and appreciate Steve sharing his part of the world with us. We will keep coming back, as long as you'll have us!

The Picnic Ground
It was a great experience to Stay at Steve's property. So open and well maintained. Bonus to have such an interaction with the inquisitive cattle sharing the space. Can't wait for another night by the fire here.
