Sarabah is a 300 acre working cattle property located along the upper reaches of the pristine Canungra Creek and in the foothills of the Lamington National Park. Access is possible in 2WD in fine weather but 4WD will be needed in wet weather. Guests must be fully self-contained including toilet and drinking water - no facilities provided. We ask for minimal impact - removal of all waste and rubbish is the guest's responsibility. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. Open fires permitted only in fire pits provided - subject to local restrictions when applicable. Firewood is available and delivered to your campsite. Please message Steve 48 hours prior to arrival if you would like firewood. We currently have 8 campsites that can be booked: The Campground (site 1), The Secret Spot (site 2), The Picnic Ground (site 3), The Overflow (site 4), The Rock Shelf (site 5), The Nook (site 6), The Paddock (site 7) and The Cranny (site 8). All sites have creek frontage and are private and a reasonable distance away from other sites. Note: vehicles, camper trailers, caravans and toilets are not to be set up within 10m of the creek as per local government by-laws. When booking, select one of these 8 sites and you will have exclusive use of that site for your stay. Please note that the price is per person and all guests must be included when booking. Bookings can be altered (guests added and deleted) by the person making the booking and it is their responsibility to collect payment from others for whom they have booked and paid. Please ensure you check the specific directions to your site in "My Trips" (in your profile area) when you have a confirmed booking.

The Overflow
Great Getaway!
We really enjoyed staying here. Trust the reviews, great place to getaway. Very quiet even though there are eight camp sites on the property, each are far enough in between to not disturb each other. The directions from Steve were spot on, no trouble finding the place. We’ll be back.

The Cranny Sarabah Camping
ABSOLUTE 10/10 CAMP
10/10 will be back. We loved this campground. There are cows free roaming, privacy for each campsite and a cute flowing creek we had a few swims in. It feels like you’re on you’re own private land, super quiet and beautiful. Thank you Steve for a wonderfully perfect trip.

The Rock Shelf Sarabah Camping
Peaceful location
We stayed at the Rock shelf site #5. Caravan access was good and it had a large flat site that could fit at least 4 or more family size set ups. The running creek added to the peacefull ambience. Definitely going back.

The Picnic Ground
We will always come back!!
We have stayed here 4 times now and will continue too. We have already booked again for January 2025 as it’s so popular, you need to book in advance. The creek is crystal clear, the grass is so green, the birds sing all day, the cows walk by and it’s the most beautiful, relaxing place. Steve is the best host!!

The Campground Sarabah Camping
Another amazing stay!
Another great stay on Steve’s property. This place has quickly become our family favourite. Always clean and tidy, amazing creek frontage with campsites private and quiet. The kids always have a ball. Looking forward to our stay.
