The Muddy Burrum River
Great location…..we managed to get a river front site. Remember your insect repellant though as sand flies are really bad. Disappointing that the pontoon was out of action (website didn’t advise this) so we couldn’t swim as there’s no easy access due to a muddy river bank.

Great directions. Driveway entrance could have been a bit more inviting as we arrived after rain and were having second thoughts due to pot holes. Pontoon not in place because of repairs. An update of Hipcamps would have been appreciated. Couldn't kayak which we were looking forward to. Overall, a great place. Lots of bird life and caught a mud crab and huge fish. Plenty of lovely flat grassed areas. Lots of midges but we will be back!

Peaceful Riverside Camping
Just like the name says, so peaceful and beautifully maintained. Trevor the host is very friendly. Allowing the dogs off lead is a plus for them. They had a great time. The fishing and crabbing was good. Got a good feed of both. Looking forward to coming back again.
