We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

This is our third visit to Over the Creek, and we love it every time. Beautiful, spacious areas to camp with our caravan; the kids love seeing the cows and horses around. The creek is beautiful for a swim and explore. We'll be back again and again! The hosts are friendly and easy to get along with. Thank you for having us.

This is a place we intend to come back. So good to sleep by the sound of the water flowing a few metres from our tent. The site was mowed and clean. Phil is a friendly host that took us all the way to our site and gave instructions about the place and surrounds.

This place is beautiful. Stayed at Phil’s Spot. Very private. Creek is spectacular. Lots of cows. Hosts are lovely. Firewood was generous.

We had an amazing stay at Lovers Lane! One of the standout features was how nicely spread out the campsites were — there was plenty of space between each one, which gave a great sense of privacy and peace. The caretakers were absolutely incredible — super friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. We especially appreciated how generous they were with the firewood. We only purchased a bit, but they provided way more than expected, which made our nights around the fire even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept place with good vibes and thoughtful hosts!

Great night camping in the front corner next to the running creek. Paid for a load of wood that lasted the evening and morning with some to spare. Horses came to visit right on dusk. Will be back.

Perfect little spot by the creek. Sleeping with the sound of water of the rocks was the best way to rest and the seclusion of the area made it our own little sanctuary. So nice of the hosts to lead us to the camp spot and test out our 4WD capabilities. Loved every second.

Did an overnight stay at ‘the back flats 4WD’ and what an amazing campground. Was created at the front gate by Phil who escorted us on his tractor and showed us his property. Beautiful creek flowing through with great campsites spread far apart for a very remote escape into nature. Loved it, couldn’t recommend booking here enough.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Our spot was private and Alannah took us right to it. Beautiful creek to listen to at night which the boys also managed to trap an eel and some other little fish in their fish traps. Fair warning that the cows come up to your site in the afternoon and horses drink from the creek in the evening. We turned around to s see a horse right behind us as we were having a fire, which was icing on top for us who absolutely loved it. Beautiful views of the mountains too. We will 100% be back 😊

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Over the Creek. First time visitors. Gorgeous land, great hosts. We travelled with a 15ft hybrid caravan & decided to stay in the 2wd camp as we arrived late. The whole property was super clean & well looked after. Thanks for having us. We will be back.

Such a peaceful place with the sound of the creek running. The clear sky of a night with a million stars looking back at you does not get much better. We opted to buy wood when we booked and we had plenty that kept getting topped up. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

We had a lovely time at lovers lane. Very secluded - just how we like it. Firewood was provided for a small extra fee. The creek was freezing but stunning and running so clear. The hosts are so amazing and even helped us out with a tractor when the camper got a bit bogged from some unexpected rain 😅 We definitely will be back.
