Mountview is a very special place having been in the family for over 120 years. The working farm is 650 acres of grain cropping and also runs a productive Charolais beef cattle stud. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Explore the local area with so many attractions and places to discover including the Darling Downs Zoo, The Historical Bull & Barley Inn, quaint little country towns, sunflower fields, Glengallan homestead, hiking tracks and so much more. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Watch stunning sunsets, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, watch the night sky for a dazzling display of stars, hike or say hello to the many Charolais cattle on the property. You will have access to the facilities at the Ironbark Barn which include a pool table, dart board, television, kitchen and bar area, and hot shower and toilets. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, BBQ, dish-washing station and rubbish/recycling facilities. Please note to hook up to power you will need a lead of at least 30 meters. 15 amp power is supplied. Power is allocated on a first in best dressed preference. If you desperately require power please advise at the time of your booking and all efforts will be made to hook you up to power. We loved camping on Katrina’s land. It was so nice not being in a cramped camping area surrounded by heaps of other campers. The landscape and atmosphere were fantastic. We had a lovely tent space near the barn where we had a great afternoon of family fun playing pool. Loved it.

We had a wonderful visit to Mountview Farmstay. The facilities were great (and clean). Sites are big so you have plenty of space. Will definitely be returning soon. Make sure you also head into Cambooya for an awesome pub meal.

Host Katrina is very welcoming and friendly. They have done an amazing job with the property. The property is super clean and tidy. Plenty of space with great views down the valley. Had a very relaxing stay on the farm.

Lovely host and friendly atmosphere and views. The only negative thing id write is that if you are a light sleeper and you are placed near the ammenities block, the windmill is noisy bugger 😂😂😂 thanks for a great stay! Will highly recommend to friends!
