Set in the tropical rainforest on 4 hectares. Julanne's Forest was planted 40 years ago as Cassowary habitat and to encourage a return of local species (both Flora and Fauna). Set high on the banks of Utchee Creek. This is wild rainforest regrowth with wait-a-while, birds and critters abounding. The campground is a mowed area in the paddock. No toilet. 4WD access recommended - essential when wet.Escape the congestion of larger campgrounds. pitch your tent or park your camper anywhere on the flat grassed area in the paddock. Only one camping group is allowed at a time. Enjoy your exclusive access to a fabulous creek at the bottom of the paddock. Half hour drive to Mission Beach, Great Barrier Reef, Mamu Skywalk, waterfalls, Atherton Tablelands. Innisfail is 20kms away for supplies and waste dump 4WD recommended - it's a bush track. Gravel track with a treelined archway at the entrance. 2WD vehicles can access during dry periods.
