We booked hold it flats campsite for two nights, the day we were meant to come it began to get extremely windy (there was a cyclone nearby that was not meant to hit us but we got the winds and some heavy rain), we messaged the host, Katie, and asked if we could reschedule to the following weekend due to the sudden weather change. Someone messaged back, who said Katie was not available and told us “It’s not windy here”. Yalboroo is an hour away from us and so I checked the weather app and sure enough it said winds up to 55km/hr for Yalboroo which is completely unsuitable to camp let alone set up a tent in that kind of weather. We explained to her and showed screenshots and we got no reply until the next morning where Katie said we could not reschedule or get a refund and told us this was because it was not windy there. She was extremely rude and ignorant towards us and did not even offer to refund the firewood that we purchased. I completely understand a late cancellation resulting in no refund but we cannot control a drastic and sudden weather change and to lie and say it’s not windy just to take our money was unacceptable. Katie could’ve atleast been nicer about it and not reply with short and rude responses. This used to be a good campsite for myself and others I know that would come here regularly but this ruined it for us and we will not be back.

Great place to rest and relax.
Easy access and lovely green grass and shady trees.
Clean and tidy toilets and showers.

Hold It Flats Grassed Flat Camping
Beautiful well kept grass areas. Very clean and tidy toilets and showers. Great swimming in the creek. The kids loved all of the wildlife

As always Hold it Flats is an excellent camping experience. The creek is beautiful to swim in, immaculately clean facilities. Will return again soon.

Hold It Flats Grassed Flat Camping
We have been here a couple of times and always have an excellent time. The creek was running and was lovely and clean after all the rain. The toilets and showers are always clean and tidy. Great place.

Loved it! Was mowed so my little toddler could run around without worrying. Just a beautiful spot in general. Will definitely be back 😊
