Good overnighter
We were looked after and provided an opportunity to upgrade into a cabin due to significant rains flooding out the camping sites. Good spot for an overnight or couple of nights stay.

Billabong Sites
Pleasant camping amoung the possums
We had a lively stay at Goondiwindi freedom camp. The grounds were well kept and the facilities immaculately clean. We had a billabong site which was great for the kids who tried their hand at catching yabbies. At night we sat by a fire and we’re joined by passal of possums scurrying around us. Would stay here again when passing through Goondiwindi

Grounds are good for an overnight stay, we were lucky to get in as most areas are closed due to the rain so we stayed 2 .

Billabong Sites
The billabong site was close to amenities and had plenty of grass areas for our kelpies. The spots are shaded from the westerly sun by lovely eucalypts. Some more trees/shrubs planted on the opposite side of the billabong to block out buildings would be great. Lots of magpie guess, ducks, and other birds, plus a few possum visits. :)

Great little campground with very clean amenities. We stopped in for one night on our way to Dubbo.
