Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Flaggy creek caravan camp is set on a private 260 acre rural property at the end of an unsealed road surrounded by the peace and serenity of state forest. A highlight is a beautiful permanent creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 klm and is habitat to platypus, turtles, an abundance of bird life and towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. The space we only have 3 available campsites all with amazing views and with plenty space two being on the banks of Flaggy creek (Flaggy creek camp 1) Flaggy creek camp 2) and Bluff view, all camp sites have their own fire pit. (Fire season permitting). We do sell large crates of split firewood for $15 or you can collect your own from the property.

Great spot, easy access. Little walk down to the creek for a swim (but not this time) Tim was a great host, answered me very quickly even though I was sending heaps of messages due to the wet weather. There are some bush walks in the area that Tim was going to tell us about (we skipped them this time as well).

Tim was really approachable and friendly, campsite isn’t directly creek accessible but a small wan will get you there. The creek was lovely, spotted 2 platypus both upstream and downstream

We loved camping near the creek, even had a horse visiting. Found heaps of firewood, but also bought a crate from Tim. We will definitely be back to escape the heat and humidity on the coast and enjoy cool nights and pleasant days

Wondering spot to camp! Tim was very friendly and helpful. It was so quiet and peaceful and the creek was perfect for a swim. I highly recommend.

Excellent spot
A fantastic spot. Central location as a base camp to tour the Atherton Tablelands. Great friendly host. Beautiful Spot with small creek and waterfalls adjacent to the site.
