200 acre working farm located at the foothills of Lamington National Park. Cedar Glen Farmstay offers off-grid camping amongst alpacas, cattle, horses, camels and more. Enjoy a cool down in the Albert River and enjoy the stars at night by a fire. Cedar Glen is the perfect spot to wind down and enjoy the outdoors and nature. Cedar Glen has been a working cattle farm for over 100 years and a Farmstay for more than 30. The Farmstay also has 3 Cottages and a Homestead for accommodation. Guests can enjoy feeding the animals at an additional cost with staff and learning about the history of the property and Stephens family who settled on the land in the late 1800s and built the existing dwellings and farmed the thousands of acres surrounding the farmstay. Buckets of feed are also available for purchase on the farm to feed our friendly animals through the fence. This is a great option for the littlies!

We had 3 families in caravans and 1 in the Stinson house. Stunning Mountain View’s for sunrise and sunset. Camp fire at night. Animals for the kids to feed, drive into the next paddock to a picturesque running creek, deep enough for a swim and explore. Great spot, friendly hosts and enough space to spread out.

The perfect family stay 🫶🏼
We absolutely loved our stay. We camped with the kids. The peace of the land, the privacy we had in our camping spot - with the most perfect view of the ranges / mountains. The farm animals… but what we loved most of all were the farm dogs (George & Armani) that guided us to the creek. This was the highlight of our experience. A stay here is perfect for family, there are truly too many positives to list. Love the camels! 🥰 the hosts were so friendly - even organising Easter Egg hunt & activities for the kids. Just the best, thanks guys!

Camping with animals!
We absolutely loved our stay here! Great hosts, easily contactable and very friendly. Amazing views from the site which was mowed with fire pits and sheep/lambs roaming which the kids loved, they even had a visit from three little pigs on our first night!! The creek was gorgeous, crystal clear water with lots of wildlife. We also had a trip to Lost World which is also beautiful. There was also a small play ground with trampoline which was a bonus, as well as amenities and a shelter currently being built. I was hesitant to write a review as we want to keep this little paradise to ourselves, we will definitely be back soon!
