Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside. The cute loft bedroom has a queen bed, and a double foldout sofa bed is available on ground level. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge has a 40 cm smart TV with DVD player, table and chairs. There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive on the property to the creek where there is a resident platypus and a picnic table for cabin guests. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Phone reception is available if you’re with Telstra. The property is 2WD accessible, but I recommend 4WD in wet weather No pets please.

Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin
The perfect little getaway. Super secluded, surrounded by nature but with all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

Christmas creek campsite 5
Camping with Animals
What a beautiful, peaceful spot at campsite 5! Will definitely be returning. It felt like there was no other sole around. The water hole was refreshing and the sound of the water gently rambling over river rocks while relaxing and sleeping was divine. The area was clean and well kept and the view of mountains all around was lovely.

Christmas Creek Camping Site 1
One of the best
Quiet, peaceful and very enjoyable location. Next to the creek campsite 1. Good choice for us. Running water always in the background Nice to see wildlife still in residence as well as the cows dropping in the swimming waterholes with challenging temperatures but lots of fun.

Heaven place
Love the spot love the view but the house on the opposite is bit eye sore however creek is lovely and own to ourselves. Fire pit provide as i steel slate on top to cook with the whole stay no gas or solar to cook, educational to my daughter how our great parents managed cooking, cow very friendly and not mind getting milk as i left behind. Again, show how make butter. Will come back again,

Christmas Creek Camping Site 1
Loved the site. Close to the creek. Other sites are not too close. Easy access.

Christmas creek campsite 5
This was a beautiful place to stay. Site 5 was perfectly private. Being fenced off from the cows made it easy for us to select a spot free of cow pats to set up our tent :) We loved swimming in the creek with our dog and the fact that we could access it down a steep slope from our site was even better. No mobile phone coverage, but that helped us relax and disconnect. We will be back!
